Risers

No big risers this week as each team moved up a spot or two or stayed the same. Lots of good team from each classification heading into the playoffs.

Fallers

No. 5 St. Johns Country Day

St. Johns took two losses in the final week of the regular season. They lost 5-3 to Creekside on Thursday and then 6-5 to Bishop Kenny on Friday. The Spartans are a strong group that can be very dangerous in the playoffs

NR Sickles

Sickles have had a strong 2022 season, but a 2-loss Week 10 drops them out of the Power25. The Gryphons head into the playoffs on a 3-game losing streak but have a talented team that should be able to get back on track and win some important games.

NR Mitchell

Mitchell is another team that has had a strong 2022 but suffered some late losses causing their drop in the rankings. A deep lineup led by top 2023 Aidan Miller will help produce runs in the playoffs and Ashton Crowther leading the way on the mound should make each game a tough matchup.

Newcomers

No. 22 Park Vista

Park Vista enters the Power25 for the first time in 2022. 20-4 on the season with big wins over Stoneman Douglas, Palm Beach Central, and Palm Beach Gardens. The Cobras have won 12 of their last 13 and are one of the hottest teams heading into the playoffs.

No. 23 St. Thomas Aquinas

On the bubble to start the year, St. Thomas Aquinas has made their first appearance in the Power25 in Week 10. The Raiders are 18-6 this year and have been a tough team in South Florida. They have quality wins over teams like Monsignor Pace, Calvary Christian Academy, Belen Jesuit, and Taravella. The Raiders have only allowed 87 runs this year and should be a tough playoff opponent.

No. 25 Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville)

Trinity Christian has quietly been one of the best teams in the Jacksonville area this Spring. 18-7 with big wins over Providence, Episcopal, Creekside, and Sandalwood. The Conquerors are a very young team but have talent and depth to play with any team. Look out for Trinity Christian in the playoffs.
