Risers

No. 14 Mitchell

Mitchell continues to be on a roll in 2022 bumping their record up to 11-2. Back to back wins over previously ranked George Jenkins and Wharton. The Mustangs continue to outscore opponents 76 to 20 with ace Ashton Crowther leading the way on the mound.

Fallers

NR Wharton

Wharton has struggled as of late and the losses continue to pile up. A 1-2 record in Week 6 brings Wharton to 10-5 and drops them out of the Power25. Losses to No. 14 Mitchell and unranked Freedom take Wharton out of the rankings.

NR George Jenkins

After a hot start to the season going 7-0 early, George Jenkins has cooled off and lost 5 of their last 7 games. The Eagles now sit 9-5 on the season after losses to East Lake and Grove City (OH) in Week 6. They drop out of the Power25 this week, but can reclaim their spot if they get hot again.

NR Bartram Trail

Bartram has been sitting on the edge of the Power25 for a couple weeks after a disappointing start to the season. The Bears now stand at 10-6 overall after a 3-1 loss to Bishop Kenny and fall out of the Power25. Bartram continues to play a very tough schedule but will need some big wins to get back into the Power25.

Newcomers

No. 19 Monsignor Pace

Monsignor Pace has been impressive in 2022 going 12-2 so far. The Spartans have big wins over West Broward, American Heritage (Delray), Dwyer, and Trinity Christian. Their two losses have come against No. 16 Miami Christian and 1-0 against No. 4 Stoneman Douglas. The Spartans have won 10 of their last 11 and continue to be hot in 2022.

No. 20 Melbourne

Melbourne sits at 13-1 on the season and cracks the Power25 for the first time. With wins over Merritt Island, John Carroll, Viera, and most recently No. 25 Eau Gallie, the Bulldogs have put together an impressive resume in 2022.

No. 23 East Lake

The Eagles are off to a 12-1 start with their only loss being against Dunedin. They are coming off a big 5-0 win over previously ranked George Jenkins this past Friday. They are outscoring opponents 98-27 and are getting big contributions from multiple spots in their lineup with 7 players having double digit hits on the season.
