X-FACTOR

Ryan Fry/Evan Chrest - Fry and Chrest make up a terrific 1-2 punch on the mound for the Wildcats. Pitching will be key to the team's success in 2022.

OUTLOOK

The Wharton Wildcats are coming off a 21-5 season that ended earlier than expected in the Regional Semifinals. Losing their two top hitters in Zachary Ehrhard (Oklahoma State) and Dylan McDonald (Saint Leo) will hurt, but returning their two top pitchers in Ryan Fry and Evan Chrest will be huge to the Wildcats' success in 2022. Offensively, Elijah Dukes and Billy Eich return as the power bats on the team, and Quentin Meadows and David Limbach will be key contributors. Wharton has lots of Senior experience that should help them succeed in 2022.
