Risers

#4 Bishop Verot

Bishop Verot is off to a hot 13-0 start and had a successful week at the South Walton Showdown in Week 5. Verot knocked off Providence, St. Johns Country Day, and Houston (TN) to continue their winning streak.

#10 Buchholz

Another hot team is 12-0 Buchholz. The Bobcats may have the biggest win of the season defeating #2 Trinity Christian Academy. They look to continue to improve their resume as they take on several out-of-state teams in Week 6.

Fallers

#25 North Broward Prep

With a 9-5 record on the season, North Broward is close to falling out of the Power 25. With losses in back-to-back weeks, the Eagles will look to go on a winning streak to get where they need to be come playoff time.

NR St. Johns Country Day

For the first time this season, St. Johns has fallen outside the Power 25. The Spartans went up to the South Walton Showdown last week and went 0-3 losing to Houston (TN), Winter Park, and Bishop Verot and now sit 10-5 on the season.

Newcomers

#14 Winter Park

What a week Winter Park had at the 2025 South Walton Showdown. They went 3-1 last week and all 3 wins were massive. First, they beat the host and #6 South Walton. They then defeated Mississippi powerhouse Lewisburg and finished the week knocking off previously ranked St. Johns Country Day.

#21 Santa Fe Catholic

An 11-1 start to the season gets Santa Fe Catholic into the Power 25 for the first time. They have built a strong resume knocking off teams like Berkeley Prep, George Jenkins, Lakeland Christian, and McKeel Academy. Their only loss came to nationally ranked Owasso out of Oklahoma.

#22 Niceville

Niceville has been one of the top teams out of the Panhandle this spring. 12-2 to start the year with wins over Pace, Gulf Breeze, and Mosley. The Eagles will face a tough schedule for the remainder of the season as they prepare for a playoff run.

#23 Bozeman

Another top Panhandle team this spring is Bozeman. Wins over Mosley, Chipley, and previously ranked Arnold. Their only loss on the season came to #6 South Walton. Bozeman has a big matchup coming up tomorrow as they take on #21 Santa Fe Catholic.
