Bly Leads No. 22 Sickles over Freedom

Newly added to the PBR Florida Power25 at No 22, Sickles at 9-1 took on the 7-3 Freedom High School. Freedom would take an early 1-0 lead, but 2024 Thomas Bly would settle in on the mound, eventually going four innings and striking out three.

Before moving to third, Bly would come up with the big two RBI single to give Sickles their first lead of 2-1.

That would remain the score until the 5th, when a few walks and errors would lead to Freedom taking a 3-2 lead. 

Bly though would yet again come through in the sixth with another two RBI single to give Sickles a 5-3 lead. Ultimately, Sickles would score seven in the sixth and seal a 9-3 win over Freedom. 

Connor Vance, Caden McDonald and Cameron Guise all had multiple hits. While the athletic 2023 catcher Gio Mendoza stood out behind the plate defensively while also going 1-4 for Freedom.
