Scout Blog

Billy Allison OF / Flanagan, FL / 2022

Allison possesses a lean, athletic frame. Wide shoulders and high waist. Shows strength in the wrists and hands with a short, compact swing and simple approach. Comfortable going the other way with two shots to the opposite gap.

Brady Blanks C / 3B / Dwyer, FL / 2025

Blanks has a strong swing with above average hand speed and an efficient bat path. Is balanced throughout the load and swing and stays short to the ball. Extends well and the ball jumps off the bat.

Gregory Caban C / 2B / Archbishop McCarthy, FL / 2024

Smooth, athletic swing from the left side. Creates torque during separation and fires the lower half with a whippy barrel. Already showing gap to gap potential.

Cameron Carpenter RHP / 1B / North port high, FL / 2020

Athletic two-way guy. Showed a feel to pitch and spin. Batting leadoff, line drive swing with some gap to gap pop. Young two way follow. 3 IP 7 K

Dominic Donatucci SS / South Fork, FL / 2024

Uber-athletic with a whippy barrel through the zone. Absolutely scorched a ball to center in gameplay. Glides around the bases and in the OF.

Trey Fisher LHP / 1B / Jesuit, FL / 2022

Has done a nice job locating and changing speeds. Not overpowering, but located and mixed his pitches consistently. FB 75-79

Luis Alfonso Machado Ruiz OF / Florida Virtual, FL / 2025

Really impressive young man. Mature approach, playing in 18u division. Was 2-3 with an RBI yesterday and hitting at the top of the order. Feel to hit with a lot of upside to mature into.

Ethan Mattison LHP / Park Vista, FL / 2024

Mattison is a long, lanky southpaw with plenty of room to grow. Shows a compact, quick arm from a low ¾ slot and attacks with FBs to both sides of the plate. Has some arm side run and flashed a short SL occasionally. 3 IP 0 R 5 K

Augie Mojica RHP / 3B / Bishop McLaughlin, FL / 2022

Fast arm here from Mojica. Up tempo delivery and athletic balance point from a high 3/4 slot. Able to use the FB to both sides and developing command of off speed.

SL: 72-74

Daniel Pierre 3B / International Baseball Academy, FL / 2022

Really impressive early. Quality tempo, slight crossfire from a 3/4 slot. Arm action is clean and easy. Struck out 5 straight hitters.

AJ Rodriguez 3B / Forest Hill , FL / 2023

Natural timing and rhythm at the plate. Stays in the lower half well and engages the core. Keeps the posture through the turn and the barrel behind. Does damage out front with prevalent pop in the bat.

Michael Yeager SS / RHP / Brunswick School, CT / 2024

Virginia commit. Large, advanced frame with mature actions. Controlled, loose swing with intent. Lets the ball get deep and throws the hands. Heavy barrel through the zone and can do damage.
