The Florida Preseason All-State has quickly become the premier Preseason event in the state of Florida. Over the first two years there have been over 100 committed players in attendance and counting. This event is held for the top 2019s-2022s throughout the state to kick off the Prep Baseball Report's spring high school baseball coverage.

We will begin to spotlight each and every player in attendance. Today, we examine C Blake Dincman (North Florida Christian, 2021).

Scouting Report

9/28/18 - 5-foot-10, 162-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Offensively, balanced setup, good pre-pitch rhythm, has an approach at the plate, made solid contact consistently.

06/23/18- 5-foot-10, 162 pounds, he has continued to fill out, in both the shoulders and the lower half. Offensively, e works off of the front foot and there is present strength. Can drop hands and work come out of the strong lower half at times. He has gap to gap power and as he learns how to consistently stay in the lower half will have power potential. Defensively, he shows above average ability to receive the baseball. It is an advanced receive skill, getting to pitches from knee to knee. Overall, solid present defender and as he matures could be a well above average to plus defender.

06/28/17- One of the younger players in attendance, he showed sound defensive action. Strong receiver for his age, hands works and blocked and moved well. Throws were accurate and ranged from 2.2-2.3 and will improve as he becomes stronger and improves foot quickness. Offensively, he shows above average bat speed for his class. Has a strong, balanced lower half that he uses well. A slightly uphill path and stocky frame with strength should result in gap-to-gap power as he continues to grow and get stronger.
