Another week, another Rankings Update. This week, we move to the 2025 class where there is a lot to like. With summer approaching, we will continue to get eyes on this talented class to see where they will all stack up for the next two years. Check out our latest 2025 Rankings update in Florida.

We have a new number one this time around with Noah Franco re-classifying to 2024. His IMG teammate, SS Sean Gamble, takes over the top spot in the 2025 class. Not often is the top player in the class uncommitted, but Gamble will be sure to have his phone ringing come August 1st. Gamble is one of the best pure hitters in the country. Lightning quick hands that can get to any pitch in the zone. Uses the whole field to do damage. Gamble went on a tear this spring at IMG where he launched seven home runs on the season.

At number two is Gamble’s IMG teammate in OF Dean Moss. When it comes to power projection, not many players in the 2025 class stand out more than Moss. A sweet lefty swing with ability to drive the ball with ease. Moss has a knack for finding barrels and continues to grow his projection as he gets stronger.

Number three is another sweet lefty swing in OF Jacob Kendall. Kendall’s bat is projectable and he has shown he is a proven hitter. The Florida commit has premier bat speed in the class and easy juice off the bat. Uber projectable hitter.

At four is one of the better pure athletes in this class in RHP/SS Carter Smith. Smith is a four star quarterback prospect as well as a two-way player on the diamond. Smith has been up to 91 mph on the mound and looks to make another jump now standing 6-foot-4, 180 pounds.

Rounding out our top five is another athletic two-way player in SS/RHP Manny Lantigua. Committed to Florida State, Lantigua has a lot of tools to like. An above average defender at short with plenty of arm strength. Physicality in the batter’s box with developing power potential. Also, upper 80s on the mound right now with more to come.

Outside of the top five is a big time riser in LHP Austin Simmons. Like Carter Smith, Simmons is also a four star quarterback prospect. He is committed to Florida for baseball and football. On the mound, Simmons is up to 93 from the left side and flashes a sharp slider. Simmons is an above average athlete and slides in at number eight in the state.
