Day 1 Scout Notes

Max Aizenshtat OF / RHP / Barron Collier , FL / 2022

Athletic build with good quick twitch actions. Good bat speed which translates to some power. Had a solid outing on the mound as well. Pounds the zone with fastball, pitches to contact.  Raw type of player, will be interesting to see with further development.

Nicholas Badillo C / 3B / IMG Academy, FL / 2022

Winthrop commit and former Future Gamer for Team New York. Like the physicality behind the plate from Badillo. Calm receiver with above average actions. At the plate, shows a simple approach. Lets the ball get deep and uses the whole field with intent.

Everett Burgess 1B / 3B / Cypress Creek, FL / 2025

Tall, physical body for a 2025. Good, relaxed approach at the plate, waits for his pitch to do damage. Uses levers to create power throughout swing. With strength development, could show good gap to gap power. High follow 2025.

Teagan Davies 1B / RHP / Hollins, FL / 2025

Stocky, strong frame. Has shown ability to go the other way with multiple barrels to the right side. Lets the ball travel and uses the entire field.

Brett Dennis 3B / RHP / Providence, FL / 2023

6-foot-1, 178 pounds. Dennis was a 2020 Sophomore State Games participant for th North and looks to have made a nice jump. Attacked for strikes with a quick arm action. FB up to 89 with a swing & miss SL.

Yvan Douglas C / 1B / Jesuit, FL / 2024

Douglas did a nice job pulling the hands in and getting the barrel to the ball as he drove in runs in each of his first 2 plate appearances. Multiple knocks on the day.

Aidan Forrest 3B / RHP / IMG Academy, FL / 2025

2021 Jr Future Gamer continues to show an advanced approach at the plate. Loose hands with the ability to turn the barrel. Shows line drive ability with a chance for pullside power.

Connor Fosnow 3B / 2B / Lake Brantley, FL / 2022

Northwest Florida State commit. The physical right handed hitter continues to show the upside in the hit tool. The approach has improved at the plate working gap to gap with line drive contact and the ability to lift when needed.

Matthew Hall OF / RHP / Jefferson , FL / 2025

A lot to like in the long, athletic frame. Runs extremely will with a chance for a plus run tool. Covers ground with ease in center field ranging to both gaps. Offensively, shows a line drive swing with the ability to go the other way.

Minseo Jang 1B / IMG Academy , FL / 2022

Physical, big bodied first baseman. Quick feet and good footwork for his size at first base.  Mature look at the plate. Selective, looks for his pitch to do damage. Good knowledge of the strike zone. Solid all around first baseman, interesting to follow.

Cameron Kessell RHP / 1B / Home School , FL / 2025

The 2021 Jr. Future Gamer continues to impress on the mound. Pitches with confidence and pounds both sides of the plate with a 3 pitch mix. Very mature on the bump and continues to show the ability to go deep into games.

Michael McAloose SS / 2B / Canterbury, FL / 2022

One of the top uncommitted 2022s still left in Florida. Athletic middle infielder with a short quick stroke. Line drive hitter that uses both sides of the field to his advantage.

Frankie Messina C / 1B / Palmetto Ridge, FL / 2022

Messina showed a nice approach on Saturday as he barreled multiple balls back up the middle. Consistently on time and on the barrel.

Reed Muschinsky OF / SS / Lakewood Ranch, FL / 2022

Sleek body with height and a free and easy gait. Strength and maturity will improve tools. Compact swing shows potential with gap power and compete field use. Effortless routes to balls and covers ground.

Liam O'Neil 1B / OF / Providence, FL / 2023

Strong first baseman shows quick hands at the plate with present pull side power. Creates leverage in his swing as he is able to drive the ball with intent. Multiple barrels on the day including an RBI double.

Elijah Scadina 3B / RHP / TFA, FL / 2022

Scadina has ample size and good physical tools. 6-foot-3 proportional. Hands are quick to the ball and is situationally aware. Add aggression at the plate, and his body type adds to the already sound swing. Runs well and has athleticism that adds to the allure. Uncommitted

Dylan Taft C / 3B / East Lake, FL / 2025

Really like the athletic framed catcher at 6-foot-2, 190. Drove an RBI double off the left field wall. Put together mature ABs and is definitely a 2025 to follow.

Cesar Valera SS / RHP / Braden River , FL / 2023

Strong, athletic build. Smooth actions in the infield. When uses body correctly, arm is greatly improved. Violent swing with results. Plate discipline will add to the gap power. Runs bases with fluidity.
