The PBRT Florida Fall Select continued in Bradenton, Florida with action all day from the 16u and 18u Divisions. The tournament will last two days with each team getting 4 total games. Today, we will take a look at our Scout Notes from Day 2 at the Florida Fall Select. See who stood out to our PBR Florida Scouts.

Day 2 Scout Notes

Vance Celiberti 1B / LHP / JW Mitchell, FL / 2023

6-foot, 195 pounds.  Celiberti looked sharp on Sunday, throwing all 3 pitches working for strikes. Mixing speeds well and kept hitters off balance.

Kolton Curtis 1B / SS / Bishop Verot, FL / 2022

6-foot-4, 165 pounds.  Uncommitted 2022. Long lanky frame that he used well to drive downhill attacking low with the FB. Showed feel for an above average slider. Was able to tunnel the slider off the fastball and generate swings and misses.

Rocco DeMarinis 1B / 3B / Plant, FL / 2024

Demarinis seemed to be on base all weekend. Advanced approach and the plate. Quick loose hands. Put together mature at bats working counts and producing for his team.

Kodi Deskins C / OF / Clearwater Central Cathloic , FL / 2023

Deskins continued to stay hot at the dish this weekend. Put together a couple consistent at bats Sunday driving multiple line drives the other way. Good balanced approach with quick hands.

 

Jack Earnest OF / 2B / Jesuit, FL / 2024

Tall, athletic outfielder had another good day on Sunday. Found the barrel multiple times for hard singles. Consistent in game performer.

 

Connor Fosnow 3B / 2B / Lake Brantley, FL / 2022

Fosnow continued to swing the bat well on Sunday. Drove balls deep into the gaps. Stayed locked in with a gap to gap approach and power potential to all fields.

 

Jayden Harriel 3B / 1B / East Lake , FL / 2024

Physical third baseman continued to swing a hot bat Sunday. Multiple extra base hits again. Fluid bat path as the ball jumps off the bat.

 

Chayce Kieck SS / RHP / Bolles, FL / 2024

Kieck is an athletic infielder. Attacks the baseball with an uphill path, showing ability to launch on contact. Easy actions in the box with above average bat speed. 

 

Jacob Lozano SS / 2B / Jesuit , FL / 2024

Three hole hitter on a talented Roos team. Athletic middle infielder who hit multiple hard balls this weekend. Like the loose hands and ability to find the barrel.

 

Landen Maroudis SS / RHP / Calvary Christian, FL / 2023

NC State commit continues to show huge upside on the bump. Shows a strong lower half with electric arm speed. Quick at times but adjusted well. The ceiling just keeps getting higher.

Justin Marshall C / 1B / Jesuit, FL / 2024

Marshall showed a great approach at the dish Sunday. Pulls his hands through nicely staying inside the baseball and he was able to drive a double for an RBI.

 

Max Murray 3B / RHP / Winter Springs, FL / 2025

6-foot-2, 195 pounds. Murray has impressed on the mound on Sunday. Balanced, repeatable delivery pounding both sides of the zone. FB up to 84 generating plenty of swings and misses. High follow 2025.

Zane Pestalozzi OF / 1B / Jesuit, FL / 2024

Pestalozzi showed a great approach at the plate going the other way for hits. Athletic outfielder shows an advanced approach with the ability to turn the barrel.

 

Brayden Sasso OF / Hagerty , FL / 2025

Sasso came up big for the Scorpions. Showed a gap to gap approach launching a triple to left center. 

 

Andrew Sheffield SS / 2B / East Lake, FL / 2025

Athletic young middle infielder.  Fluid hands at the plate showing a level, line drive swing. Chance to be a good hitter going forward.

 

Gavin Stedman RHP / OF / Lakeland Christian , FL / 2025

Stedman put together quality at bats all weekend. Lean, athletic frame. Shows quick hands in the box with ability to use the whole field.
