Dalton Cleveland OF / RHP / Gulf Coast, FL / 2020

At 6-foot-3 160, Cleveland is long and lean with great hands that get the bat through the zone quickly but stays through his swing. He has a good first step in the outfield and speed that should play well in the future. A high motor and intensity keeps his play at a high level.

Reid Sondermeyer RHP / 3B / Golden Gate, FL / 2021

Sondermeyer is an imposing 6-foot-4 210 pound right-handed hitter with big legs and wide hips that could get even stronger. A quick delivery and leg kick lead to short armed release but he has balance that keep him direct to the plate. His fastball touched 80 with some late life that suggests it could be sneaky quick. He flashes a downward 68-69 mph 12-6 breaking ball that falls off the table.

CARLOS MARTINEZ SS / RHP / PRO BASEBALL ACADEMY, PR / 2020

Standing 5-foot-11 and 150, he as an uber athletic build that he will continue to grow with. With a slightly open stance from the right side he has a slight leg kick and natural timing that allows for a consistent bat path conducive to line drive contact. Looks every bit of a short stop with footwork to go along with an arm that plays.

Ryan Cleary RHP / 1B / Pinellas Park, FL / 2021

Clearly has a stocky build at 5-10 210 lbs. and uses his legs in his delivery for power. He attacks hitters to get ahead in the count and when he does he is most effective. He uses a 66-69 breaking ball to get hitters off balance and backs it up with a fastball that touched 78.

Jake O’Steen 2B / Union, FL / 2022

Scout Blog

Lou Paolillo 3B / RHP / Jupiter 2022 , FL / 2020

6-foot-3 15 year old that looks bigger than his listed 180pounds. With a tall and easy delivery he has easy arm action and a confidence that looks like he has a good feel for what he’s doing. He attacks hitters and doesn’t nibble as he completed 2 innings in less that 20 pitches.. His fastball was up to 82 with a 68-70 mph breaking ball that had good downward bite to it.

Drake Flowers OF / RHP / Dwyer, FL / 2022

At 6-foot-4 Flowers is physically imposing on the mound. At 165 lbs there is still plenty of room to grow that should only help a fastball that is already in the low 80s. For now his wiry frame allows a whip arm action from a low ¾ slot that has nice arm side. With great command he gets ahead quick and induces his fair share of ground balls.

Scout Blog

Avery VonThaden / East Lake, FL / 2021

The 5-foot-9 151 lb. rising junior has a muscular build that suggests he is a strong kid. His fastball sat at 81 with an easy arm action to project a jump in velocity. He works quickly on the mound and when he works ahead is very efficient and effective. The wind up is simple and clean and he looks to be in control of his body on the mound which could mean things come together sooner rather than later.

Scout Blog

Anthony Ursitti RHP / Canterbury, FL / 2021

Ursitti has the prototypical frame for a pitcher. At 6-3 185 he has long, strong legs, wide shoulders and rubbery arms. A compact delivery keeps everything tight and simple keeping him on line all the way through his release point. He sat 86-87 on his fastball for 2 plus innings with 11-5 break on a 70-72 mph curveball.

Tommy White 3B / 1B / Calvary Christian Clearwater, FL / 2021

NC State recruit, the physical right-handed hitter stayed on the barrel all day. A three RBI double and a line out, he is extremely offensive and has bat to ball skills as well as above average power.

Tayden Hall C / Steinbrenner, FL / 2021

The son of former Rays catcher Toby Hall, Tayden is extremely physical. A solid defender behind the plate, he also shows the strength plays offensively and has power potential.

Yohan Dessureault 3B / RHP / Academie Baseball Canada, QC / 2020

A big, athletic body that stands out at 6-foot-2 185 pounds, Dessureault put on a show at the plate with 2 opposite field doubles that he barreled up. He just missed a homer in his third at bat but a wide stance and simple load keep him quiet and compact. Plays with rhythm at short with soft hands that complement a solid first step that plays at second as well.

Empire Baseball Reid

Right handed pitcher from the 2022 class who is very developed for his age at 6-foot-2 185 pounds. He pitched four innings, striking out five. Fast ball sat in the low to mid 80s commanding the corners. Lower half is strong and arm slot is somewhat deceptive. Curveball showed some depth and missed a lot of barrels.

Ryan Kaufman LHP / OF / Gaither, FL / 2021

The 5-5 140 lb Kaufman showed out on the first day with 3 hard line drive singles to all parts of the field. A small load with a heel lift keeps the head still and keeps him on time. He has quick hands with little wasted movement that should keep contact rate high in the future.

Michael Jacoby RHP / OF / St. John Neumann Catholic HIgh School, FL / 2020

Jacoby was an intriguing player to watch. The rising Senior has great confidence in his repertoire fills up the zone, changing from a submarine to a ¾ slot throughout his outing. He was 74-77 mph with his fastball that had sinking action which helped him get ground balls all day. A frisbee type slider from his submarine slot kept hitters uncomfortable from the right side.
