WINTER GARDEN--IMG Academy continued to roll today through the Central Florida Spring Break Slam with another stellar pitching performance. This time by 2015 LHP Logan Allen. The South Carolina signee threw a complete game shutout giving up only one hit, one walk and ten strikeouts. Allen was in complete control the whole game.

IMG scored two runs and that’s all Allen needed for the win. 2016 2B Nick Derr lead the game off with a double off of the left field wall. 2015 3B Ryan Karstetter lead the offense with two hits. 2015 OF Kyle Benyo had an RBI double. The Youngstown St commit smoked a line drive in the right center field gap. The rest of the IMG offense was spread out but they managed to win behind another great pitching performance 2-0 over Miami Southwest. IMG Academy advances to the semi-finals and will take on Dr Phillips tomorrow.
