Clermont, FL—The Lake Minneola Hawks beat district foe Ocala Forrest 9-2 in seven innings on Tuesday after a five-run third inning. Many scouts were there to see 2016 IF Drew Mendoza (Lake Minneola HS, FL), but he was intentionally walked 4 times.

The Hawks scored in the third on a fielder's choice, a passed ball, an RBI single by 2016 OF Tucker Rayburn, a steal of home by Mendoza, and another fielder's choice. Rayburn ended the night with three RBIs on two hits for Lake Minneola.
