With 2022 coming to a close, we continue our yearly tradition of highlighting the Top 10 most viewed PBR Profiles in the state of Florida. Each year, millions of PBR Profiles are viewed around the country by coaches, scouts, players, parents, and baseball fans. Over 321,000 profiles were viewed in just Florida alone in 2022. We will start today by counting down the Top 10 most viewed profiles in the state. This data was collected through Google Analytics.

Continuing at No. 9 is 2024 RHP Chase Mobley. Mobley is a 6-foot-5, 190 pound right hander who attends Plant City High School. Chase is a Florida State commit and plays travel ball with Canes National. Mobley runs his fastball up to 95 with a wipeout slider and will definitely be a Draft follow come 2024. He ranks No. 1 in the PBR Florida 2024 rankings and No. 11 Nationally. Chase received 1,360 views on his PBR profile in 2022.

Scouting Report

12/02/22

Late fall workouts saw the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Mobley running his fastball up to 95 mph in game play with a tunneled slider that is likely to tick up throughout the spring. Loose and athletic with an explosive fastball, Mobley’s prospect profile grades well, and could see him climb to new heights next summer.

When looking for any class’ top prospect, Florida is a good place to start, and at 6-foot-5, 185-pounds with a power arm and twitch to the hands, Mobley checks out as a potential No. 1 player. Loose with a whip-like arm, there is likely another jump in velocity for the big right-hander who is already into the low 90s, and features strong movement down the mound with quality extension out front. Intensifying his upside on the mound, Mobley also turns his right-handed stick with some authority, and that offensive athleticism lends well to an ability to make adjustments on the mound down the road.
