OUTLOOK
Belen Jesuit comes into the 2020 season after a really strong 2019 season going 22-6. They return a talented crop of juniors and seniors despite losing several key players from last season. On the mound, the Wolverines lose RHPs Alejandro Torres and Mario Fernandez to FIU. That tandem combined for 119 innings while only allowing 23 runs in those innings. Returning on the mound is Rutgers commit Alejandro Morales, who logged 31 innings with a 1.58 ERA in 2019. They also return Manhattan commit, Roger Cainzos who missed the 2019 season with an injury. Offensively, Belen Jesuit loses three key contributors in their lineup in Armando Albert, Joshua Salandy, and Robert Curbelo. They return their biggest bat from 2019 in senior 1B Christian Eiroa (FIU) who batted .384 with 8 HRs and 30 RBI. The Wolverines also return three impact juniors in 2019 in Dorian Gonzalez (Miami), Jorge De Goti (Florida), and Gio Cueto (Wake Forest). With the talent Belen Jesuit returns in 2020, they are in a prime position to make a playoff run. Make sure to follow @pbrflorida on Twitter for the most up-to-date coverage throughout the season.
