Scouting Report

10/18/17- Committed to Florida International University.

08/06/17- The 6-foot-3, 200-pound OF/1B/RHP stands out as he has a very physical frame. Although, he has a strong frame, he has a young face and looks like he will continue to grow. On day one, he really stood out in the outfield where he showed an easy, strong arm topping out at 90 mph. Offensively, he has some length in his right-handed swing, but uses the present strength to generate present pull power. When he is balanced and on time he shows the power in the game. On the mound, the right handed arm has a very high upside. While he does not consistently uses the front side and is still refined, he has shows a heavy fastball that ranged from 82-84 touching 85 mph. As he learns to use the lower half, keep his front side strong, he has shown the arm strength and will make big jumps in velocity. He also flashed a feel for a changeup at 72-73 mph. The physicality and upside are extremely high and will have a chance to make big strides and could be a big time two way player in the future.

06/24/17- Broad shoulders, strong frame.  A lot of moving parts. Slides across rubber and can get rotational, but when he separates on time and gets extension the ball jumps out of his hand. Has a clean 3/4 arm action,  fastball works at 82-85 mph, topping out at 86 with natural arm side life. Showed a feel for a changeup at 77-78 mph and a slider at 72-73 mph.

03/10/17- Really projectable frame, long arms, high waist. He has a feel for the barrel with power potential. Had a hard line drive out and base hit against a quality arm. Has a chance to hit for power in the future.
