Cypress Creek

Head Coach: Joe Neale

2022 Draft Prospects

Name, Position, Class (College Commitment)

Ethan Petry, 3B, 2022 (South Carolina)

Imposing 6-foot-4, 220 pound third baseman with some of the best power in the 2022 class. Consistent in game performer with the ability to drive the ball for extra bases. Stays on time and on the barrel with great extension on his swings. Likes to wait for his pitch and do lots of damage when he gets it.

Other Notable Prospects

Caden Kwiat, RHP/OF, 2022
Nick Sanchez, C, 2022

Schedule

Monday, February 14 - 7:30 PM vs Westminster Christian
Tuesday, February 15 - 7:30 PM vs Cypress Creek

IMG Academy

Head Coach: Dave Turgeon

2022 Draft Prospects

Name, Position, Class (College Commitment)

Elijah Green, OF, 2022 (Miami)

Green is your prototypical 5 tool prospect who can pretty much do everything well on a baseball field. True centerfielder with the speed and arm to stick there at the next level. Hit tool is off the charts with tremendous power in his bat. Green put on a show at the 2021 Preseason Classic and looks to repeat that as he heads into the start of his Draft year where he is projected to be a top five pick.

Jackson Ferris, LHP, 2022 (Ole Miss)

Ferris is a 6-foot-4, 195 pound southpaw from North Carolina that screams projection. Not much effort in the delivery with a loose and easy arm action. Fastball gets into the mid 90's and still has more in the tank as he continues to get stronger. Has a true 12-6 curveball, but his best pitch may be his mid 80's changeup. Ferris has a chance to be a frontline starter at the next level.

Brady Neal, C, 2022 (LSU)

Neal is a 2023 reclass and fits right into the 2022 class. An above average defender behind the plate and doesn't shy away from catching top arms. An advanced hitter from the left side, Neal is one of the top all around catchers in the 2022 class. He will still be 17 come Draft week.
