Florida Director of Operations/Area Scout

Day 2 of the 2020 Preseason Classic kicked off with a high-powered matchup between Spruce Creek and Westminster Christian. The matchup everyone came to see was Victor Mederos vs. Zac Veen. Mederos was up to 97 mph with his fastball and got Veen to groundout twice. Veen later doubled in the left-center gap and continued to find barrels the rest of the day.

Down 3-0, Spruce Creek sent Zack Bennett up to pinch hit, where he launched a two-run homer to cut the deficit to 3-2. Spruce Creek would later score three more runs on an error and an RBI single that would give them a 5-4 win. Zack Bennett is our Game 3 MVP.
