X-FACTOR
Jake Eder. One of the top left handed arms in the country, the Eagles will look to the transfer to lead the way. With a fastball that has been up to 93 mph, the left hander will give Calvary a chance to win every time he is on the mound.

KEY PLAYERS LOST
3B Max Guzman (Chipola JC)

OUTLOOK
In Alan Kunkel’s first year as head coach, the Eagles ran through the playoffs winning the 4A State Championship. The loss of the 4A Player of the Year Max Guzman,  Calvary will look to Senior Luis Ezra and underclassmen Holland, Knierim and Rozenblum to the lead the offense this season. On the mound, the Eagles will look to another strong year from Junior RHP  Christian Scott  who posted a 9-1 record with a 1.12 ERA while striking out 68 in 57.1 IP. They will also look to Senior transfer LHP Jake Eder  to bolster the rotation. Eder has a fastball that can touch 93 mph and will give the Eagles two front end arms to rely on to make another run at a state title.
