UNSIGNED SENIORS - Tampa

Kyle Mandes RHP / Nature Coast Techincal, FL / 2019

06/03/18- Long and lean at 6-foot-4, 175-pounds, Mandes has a projectable frame that should continue filling out quickly in the future which will potentially give him a chance to see bigger jumps moving forward. The right-hander exhibited a more polished delivery which remains compact throughout, and allowed him to repeat his high ¾ slot with ease. His fastball sat 85-88 during his outing, and showcased some downhill plane as he controlled it in the zone, and showed some feel for moving it around. At times, his 75-77 slider showed sharp, later break, and looks to have a chance to be a potential weapon in the future. Overall, certainly looks the part on the mound, and if given the chance to progress, some college program may receive a future starter

Tucker Fine 2B / SS / Berkeley Prep, FL / 2019

08/25/18- Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 155 pounds with a lean, athletic frame. At the plate he shows a quick bat from the left side with some pull side pop. At times he can be out in front, but when he sits back and lets the ball travel into the zone, he makes hard, solid contact. In the field, he shows confidence in his hands and some range to his left and right, fielding the ball out in front with accurate throws to the bag.

Parker Farris 3B / Indian Rocks Christian , FL / 2019

Quick twitch and athletic showing a 4.32 home to first time from the right side.

Jakob Hines C / OF / Berkeley Prep, FL / 2019

Future Games report: Seemed to deliver whenever there were runners on base as he had multiple RBI hits during the showcase games. Looking much more comfortable in the box during the games, he showed rhythm and timing handling both velocity and quality secondary pitching. Standing at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds he is strong and physical while also being a solid receiver behind the plate. Blocks the ball well and displays good baseball IQ. As he continues to grow and become more flexible and gain some arm strength he will be very interesting on both sides of the plate going forward.

Bryce Hazzard OF / LHP / Bloomingdale, FL / 2019

11/05/17- The switch hitting outfielder has a feel for the game and present tools. Has a slightly above average arm in the outfield, topping out at 83 mph. Offensively, he is very similar from both side. He is short and level through the zone with a feel for the barrel. He has tools, but will need make that next jump with added strength. There is a lot to like about his game and will make him a follow going forward.

Caleb Dix RHP / 3B / Crystal River, FL / 2019

11/05/17- Long limbs and high waist, he has an extremely projectable frame. He works up tempo and the fastball ranged from 84-86 mph. He consistently cut the pitch and as he learns to drive down the mound and get extension there should be a jump in the fastball. He also showed what looked like two different breaking balls in a 69 mph curveball and a 70 mph slider. There is a lot to like and room to grow and fill out. He will need to clean up a few things, but could make some big jumps.

Terence Doston OF / Hillsborough, FL / 2019

11/05/17- Athletic outfielder, ran the best 60 yard dash time of 6.64 on the laser. Offensively, the is some rotation in the swing, but there is some feel for the barrel. The athleticism is very intriguing and will make him a follow.

Kyle Merkle 1B / Bloomgindale, FL / 2019

11/05/17- 6-foot-6, 240 pounds he is a big, strong kid. There is some early length in the swing and can get steep and rotational at times. When he gets extended, shows some big power to the pull side. Will be interesting to see how he continues to adjust to velocity, but there is big power potential.
