Scouting Report

7/10/17 - Named to Team USA 18U trials roster.

6/28/17 - Came out sitting 94-96, touching 97, and settled in at 91-94. He has a projectable frame with broad shoulders at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds. A Miami recruit, he has a methodical, easy delivery. There is some sink to his fastball, but he did give up some hard contact, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out two in three innings. He struggled with his breaking ball, which lacked bite, but had two-plane break at times.

02/21/17 - Miami recruit. Currently ranked No. 2 in the Florida 2018 Class, No. 5 Overall. Stands at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds with long legs and athleticism. Has gotten noticeably taller and added to his frame over the past few months. Has a simple, fluid delivery throwing out of the high ¾ slot with a quick, loose arm. Repeats well and lands out in front. During his two innings on the mound, he displayed a fastball that sat 91-93 mph with life in the first inning and then came out the following inning with all 93s and touched 94 twice. Also threw a 78-80 mph slider that showed depth and tight spin, throwing it for strikes. Pitches with confidence and showed good command of the zone. Will continue to be one of the top follows in his class and garner plenty of attention over the next year in regards to the 2018 MLB Draft.

6/5/16- Miami recruit, the 6-foot-3 190-pound RHP showed a very clean arm action and delivery sitting 88-90 with his fastball and 74-78 with his slider. The fastball has late life and slider has depth when he is on time and out in front. There is still a lot of room to grow and develop as he continues to learn how to use his lower has and get extension he will continue the up-tick in velocity as well as consistently throw the good hard slider.

4/19/16- Miami commit who stands at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds with a Tall, long, athletic, and projectable body. Open and relaxed stance at the plate. Strong hand trigger and separation for his load with a small leg kick. Short, quick swing with nice a plane through the zone.

3/8/16 - Miami recruit. 6-foot-3, 185 pound right hander with a tall loose projectable young body. Loose live arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Hides ball in back. High front side. Lands in line. Fast ball was 84-87 mph with some sink and run action. Curve ball was a ¾ breaker at 68-69 mph. Good rotation but a bit soft. Good feel for the change up at 73-74 mph. Has the same fast ball life. Throws all three pitches for strikes. Stuff will continue to improve with physical maturity. Very good young arm that continues to develop nicely.

2/10/15 - 5-foot-10, 155 pound right hander with a loose lean athletic projectable very young body. Loose easy working arm with a fluid delivery with a high ¾ slot. High front side. Lands slightly across his body. Occasionally front side flies open. Fastball was 82-86 mph with some arm side run. Curveball was 65-66 mph with good ¾ rotation. Had some feel for his changeup at 72-73 mph.  Struggled with control tonight but just because front side was flying open and balls were getting away from him.
