In at No. 17 is Connor Scott (Plant HS, 2018), the second prospect in our countdown to be drafted in the 2018 MLB Draft, joining No. 20 Slade Cecconi. A highly ranked prospect, No. 3 in FL, No. 14 Overall and No. 18 on the 2018 PBR Draft Board, Scott was a long time Florida Gator commit. On June 4th that changed as the Miami Marlins selected Connor Scott with the 13th overall pick.

5/15/18 - Florida recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds with a long, lean, athletic frame. DH’ed tonight out of the third spot and went 1-for-2 with a two-run single to left field along with three intentional walks. Above average bat speed with strong hands and has the ability to drive the ball anywhere on the field with pull-side power. Should be a high pick in the upcoming draft.
