Our second group of Post-Fall Player Rankings features the Class of 2026 this week. The 2026 class is looking like one of the most talented classes the State of Florida has seen. Many players have already committed to big programs since August 1st and many more are expected. The 2026 class could see a handful of potential Day 1 Draft picks as well. With that being said, lets take a look at how the Florida 2026 class looks as we head into the holidays.

Top 5 Analysis

Jacob Lombard SS / 2B / Gulliver Prep, FL / 2026

Lombard is the top player in the 2026 class. Still uncommitted, but will have plenty of options when he makes his decision. 6-foot-2, 193-pound frame, Lombard continues to be the premier player in this class and has the makings of an elite shortstop at the next level— younger brother of 2023 1st-round draft pick George Lombard Jr. and Dad (George) is the bench coach for Detriot Tigers.

Brady Harris OF / OF / Trinity Christian Academy (JAX), FL / 2026

A true center fielder with premium tools for the position, Harris has shown up in big moments with the ability to end a game with just one swing. At a physical 6-foot-2, 187 pounds, the Gators commit has 5-tool potential at the next level.

Gio Rojas LHP / 1B / Stoneman Douglas, FL / 2026

Rojas is a polished left-hander and the ace of national powerhouse Stoneman Douglas. With front-line starter potential, his fastball is up to 94, paired with a wipeout slider at 2900 rpm. The 6-foot-1, 181-pound Miami commit helped lead Stoneman Douglas to their fourth straight State Title this past spring.

2024 Prep Baseball All-American

Coleman Borthwick 3B / RHP / South Walton, FL / 2026

With an imposing 6-foot-6, 254-pound frame, Borthwick, an Auburn commit, is a physical athlete and moves well for his size. Immense strength at the plate and on the mound bodes well for him at the next level. Fastball in the mid-90s and light-tower-power at the plate. Borthwick has real two-way ability and should be able to carry that on to the next level.

2024 Prep Baseball All-American & HR Derby Champion

Kaden Waechter RHP / SS / Jesuit, FL / 2026

Waechter is a premium athlete with the tools and competitiveness to succeed at the next level, especially on the mound. 6-foot-2, 177 pounds. Fastball up to 92 mph with hop in the zone at 2700+ rpm. Strike thrower, spins a tight breaking ball, and lands a quality changeup. Offensively is an above-average shortstop, 6.7 runner, and drives the ball to all fields with ease. Still uncommitted but wherever he lands, they will be getting a winner.
