2025 Georgia Preview: Adairsville Tigers
January 29, 2025
The 2025 high school baseball season is quickly approaching and as usual, excitement abounds throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.
Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in the GHSA or GIAA state playoffs, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews and by continuing our scheduled podcasts and releasing our preseason top-10 rankings in each GHSA classification and Power 25.
Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state.
Each week we will be releasing our Players of the Week, updating the top-10 ranks in each GHSA classification, as well updating our Power 25 overall rankings. One thing, especially, you don’t want to miss are our scheduled podcasts with guests from across the state, as well as the recaps and previews of the big games we’re covering.
*Please note the information has been gathered from head coaches across the state, based on their replies to the questionnaire we distributed over this offseason.

TEAM OUTLOOK
After being considerably successful in 2024, the Adairsville Tigers look to continue their winning ways with a strong senior and junior class that include some top-end talent in the region. Leading the way for this year’s Tigers squad is Jarrett Scott who is coming off a hot summer and looks to be a reliable bat in this stacked lineup. Other leaders from this senior class are Jack Nelson and Peyton Bowen, both looking to add to their high school campaigns with strong showings in their final season wearing the green and gold. While in the field, Braxton Ryan, is looking to also be a valuable bat in this lineup, and Ethan Long, who is coming over from Dalton HS, looks to add experience and maturity to the infield or outfield, and be a strong bat in this line-up. For the 2026 grads, OF/SS Harrison Cole, Hudson Parr, and Kaiden Coker are a few of the top names on our watch list, but with a team with this kind of talent, any player in this starting-9 will be a must-see. A handful of sophomores also look to do some damage in this already stacked batting line-up, OF Evan Hardin, C Matthew Cook, and OF/RHP McCayden Hufstetler all look to contribute their talents and will be fun to see their maturity as it gets later in the season. With a roster this talented, this is a team that looks to strive for greater results than their unfortunate demise from a year ago. This team has talent and depth at every position and bats that can get hot at any moment. It will be hard to contain a team of this caliber for long, very much looking forward to watching them in 2025.
