2025 Georgia Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans

The 2025 high school baseball season is quickly approaching and as usual, excitement abounds throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in the GHSA or GIAA state playoffs, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews and by continuing our scheduled podcasts and releasing our preseason top-10 rankings in each GHSA classification and Power 25.

Each week we will be releasing our Players of the Week, updating the top-10 ranks in each GHSA classification, as well updating our Power 25 overall rankings. One thing, especially, you don’t want to miss are our scheduled podcasts with guests from across the state, as well as the recaps and previews of the big games we’re covering.

TEAM OUTLOOK

The expectations for the Titans could be lofty this spring as Blessed Trinity comes off of a final four run while returning six offensive starters and adding a monster talent at shortstop. Coming over from Alexander and filling an immediate hole at SS is senior Terrance Bowen, one of the top 10 players in the class with a high-level hit/power combo and MLB Draft potential. The strength of the infield only continues with three committed seniors rounding it out in the dirt. The Zagryn twins (1B Aiden Zagryn, 2B Carson Zagryn) will hold down the right side and a fully healthy Kade Kisz is looking for a monster senior campaign at the hot corner after missing some of his junior season. Senior OF Wesley Bass returns to provide the veteran leadership in the outfield with big-time power at the plate as well. Junior OF Quinn Davis looks to finally have a chance to make an impact in this lineup this spring as well as having a path towards earning the opening day CF job. The #1 player in the state for the 2027 class, OF Caden Dawson closes out the outfield in RF and looks to build off a massive freshman season where he hit .392 with 5 HR. RHPs in senior Cam Novak and junior Joseph Contreras provide the Titans with a potent 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation as they return after earning big innings and experience last spring. Junior utility Ryder Register has a chance to be a glue guy for this team in 2025 providing depth in both the infield as well as being a top option in the bullpen. There’s a chance for this lineup to be as potent as you’ll find in the state with two arms you're going to trust on a nightly basis, and that gives Blessed Trinity one of the highest ceilings in all of 4A.
