Rawlings Southeast 14u/15u

Sherman Johnson, SS, Rockdale County, 2023
5-foot-9, 135 pounds; looks to have added some size and strength since the summer. Lanky, athletic player that has shown ability to play all over the field, including the outfield. Showed very advanced actions at SS over the weekend. Feet were exceptionally quick and demonstrated superior lateral movement. At the plate, has loose hands that work quick through the zone. Does not get cheated at the plate, and showed ability to go to the opposite field. Good runner who floats on the base paths.

East Cobb Prime 16U - Zilleox

Cade Heflin, CF, Pope (GA), 2022
6-foot-1 150 pound left-handed hitter. Calm stance with resting bat. Triggers hands and timing step at same time. Gets bat in to slot, followed by slight uphill bat path. Uses legs well in swing. Hands work freely through the zone. Impressed with hard contact throughout the event; solid bat that is an advanced athlete in the GA ‘22 class.
Tyler Smith, RHP, Forsyth Central (GA), 2021
5-foot-9, 150 pounds; slim frame. Drop and drive with a glove-side landing. Smith had a strong start for Zilleox that set the tone for the weekend. Challenged hitters with a low 80’s fastball, creeping up to 82 mph; worked both sides of the plate. Had a strong mix of off-speed pitches that located low in the zone. Downward, tumbling action on CB at 72-74 mph.
Georgia Scorpions 16u

Justen Newsome, OF, Harrison (GA), 2022
6-foot-2, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, projectable frame, long, lanky with emerging strength throughout, moves athletically with long strides. Has really made strides from the summer into the fall, now a consistent top of the order bat for the Georgia Scorpions. Takes a more gap-to-gap approach with pull-side pop, can turn on pitches with ease, uses his length to his advantage. With continued reps and added strength, will be able to consistently drive the ball with force.

Michael Barron, OF, Allatoona (GA), 2022
5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, a good overall athlete with strength in his lower half. Offensively, takes a tall, open setup, relaxed look, hands load back smoothly, long hanging leg stride, good balance through contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter, drove the ball all weekend collecting extra base hits in every game he played in. Barrel plays somewhat uphill, allowing for him to elevate the ball, loose hands and wrists whip the barrel through and generate hard contact.

Knights Baseball 16u

Nick Correll, RHP, Knights Baseball Academy (TN), 2022
One of the top ranked prospects in Tennessee coming in at No. 3 in the state. 6-foot-2, 195-pound right-handed pitcher, strong, durable frame, broad shoulders, will continue to firm up frame with muscle and add even more. Arm works short and clean on the back-side, quick arm speed, gets out to a ¾ slot, cross-body action. Drop and drive delivery, gets into his legs, strides towards the third base side of the mound, finishing crossing over towards first. Fastball touched 85 early on, sat 81-84 for the majority of his start, run action, was able to induce some swing and misses, frequently froze batters with. Curveball, 11/5 shape, flashed late bite, 65-69. Offensively, takes an open setup, hands cock and load back with some barrel wrap, leg kick timing trigger, good balance and rhythm. Power hitter, generated hard line drive contact to all fields, especially middle/pull throughout the weekend.
Blake Bevis, RHP/CIF, Ravenwood (TN), 2022
6-foot-2, 180-pounds right-handed hitter and corner infielder, present strength throughout frame, will only add more as he continues to physically mature. Offensively, was an absolute workhorse at the plate all weekend long, collecting multiple triples and doubles throughout the Adidas Three Stripe Classic. Takes a tall, open setup, hands load back smoothy, early toe-tap into a long stride, good balance. The ball jumps off the bat differently than others, swing works with natural loft as he elevates the ball with backspin and drives it to all parts of the park. Easily the top power hitter in attendance at the underclass division. On the mound, arm works short and clean to an over-the-top slot, gets good extension, up to 6-feet, 9-inches on some pitches. Drop and drive, keeps momentum on line. Fastball sat 82-84, touched 85 (1600-1800 rpm). Already equipped with a swing and miss 12/6 breaking nall, depth with late bite, 73-75 (1800rpm).
Cooper Newsom, SS/2B, Stewarts Creek (TN), 2022

5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, proportional build, solid athlete. Offensively, open setup, hands separate on load, reverse toe-tap stride, good balance through contact. Line drive type hitter, swing works smoothly through the zone, can get uphill at-times. With added strength will have the ability to consistently drive the ball gap-to-gap.

Van True, 2B/3B, East Robertson (TN), 2021
5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting infielder, lean build with muscle tone. Offensively, takes a balanced setup, hands load back and drop, leg kick timing trigger, good balance throughout. Line drive type hitter, barrel works smoothly through the zone in a level path, was unfazed against upper 80s fastballs against GBSA, used his quick hands and good hand-eye coordination to barrel one up into the right center gap for a triple on Saturday evening.

Georgia Scorpions 15u

Carson Hill, RHP/C, Cass (GA), 2023
5-foot-9, 168-pound right-handed pitcher, durable build, will be able to add strength to frame as he physically matures. Consistent arm action out of a high ¾ slot, repeatable delivery. Had one of the more impressive outings on the mound during the Adidas Three Stripe Classic facing SBA. Tossed a CG allowing only two hits, took a no-hitter into the fourth inning, surrendering his fist with one out in the fourth. Threw a high volume of strikes and competed in the zone all day.

Knights Baseball 15u

Miller Green, LHP, Lipscomb Academy (TN), 2023
6-foot-4, 170-pound left-handed pitcher, broad shoulders on a  long, lanky frame, lean build, projectable, will add strength and fill out considerably as he physically matures. Arm works long and continuously on the back-side, clean action, accelerates quickly to a ¾ slot with whippy hand speed, works with good angle. Drop and drive delivery, hip lead, keeps everything on-line, landing square and finishing square to home. Good overall command and feel for his delivery. Fastball sat 83-84, touched 86, downhill. Curveball played at 69-70, 1/7 shape, has depth to it. With the present physical tools, Green will be a highly sought after prospect with tons of upside to be tapped into.
Stephen Bell, OF, Ravenwood (TN), 2022

6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, athletically built. Bell was impressive over the summer at multiple tournaments at LakePoint and has not lost a step into the fall. Barrel works level through the zone creating line drive contact, has a knack for squaring the ball up on a consistent basis. Given his present ability to hit, with added strength will be able to drive the ball with force down the road.

Max Cassle, RHP, Clarksville Academy (TN), 2023
5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed pitcher. Got a brief look at Cassle on the mound at the Adidas Three Stripe Classic and it was intriguing to say the least. The arm action is clean and loose and as he continues to mature will provide the basis for an uptick in velocity. Fastball sat 80-81 while mixing in a breaking ball at 69.

Jayden Davis, RHP/INF, Cookeville (TN), 2022
5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, strong, durable frame, broad shoulders, a good athlete as well (ran a 7.16 60 6/12/19). Arm works short and loose to a ¾ slot, quick arm and hand speed whip through release. Drop and drive delivery, explosive lower half, works on-line, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 82-84 with late run action. Curveball, tight spin, played at 71.

5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher, broad frame with strength throughout. Offensively, open setup, athletic bend in his knees, relaxed hands load back smoothly, short stride to balance. Showed the ability to use the whole field and drive the ball with force throughout the entire weekend, predominantly a gap-to-gap type hitter, strong wrist/forearms through contact.
