Does not get cheated at the plate, uses his lower-half well, and drives through the baseball with good extension.

In the second, worked 88-93 with his fastball and 88-90 in the third inning. Threw a high volume of strikes with his fastball.. Breaking ball is inconsistent in shape, mostly early break in the mid-70s. Possesses plus arm speed. Soft stab at hand break but gets it up and out consistently.

Vanderbilt recruit, currently ranked No. 57 nationally, No. 6 in Georgia’s 2021 class. Thin 5-foot-11, 160-pound left-handed pitcher with an extremely fast arm at foot strike. Carved for Team Elite Black in his start, pounding the strike zone with his 88-90 fastball. Pitched at 87-89 in the third inning. Effectively mixed three pitches. Slider sat 75-76 while his straight change was 80-81. Punched out four straight to start the game.

Chance Vaught, LHP, Mobile Christian HS (AL), 2020
Arkansas-Little Rock recruit. 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, thin frame with room for continued physical development. Threw one inning for Team Elite Black in relief and impressed. Possesses an extremely quick, athletic arm coming out of a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 85-87 with some arm-side life - more velocity in the tank. Struggled to land the breaking ball, but it showed flashes of being a banger. It’s tight with sharp late downer action at 71-73 mph. Showed potential of being a plus pitch in the future.
