Arm works long in the back coming into a 3/4 slot, and regularly dropped down to low-¾ with more slinger arm action. Fastball topped at 82 mph, working mostly 77-80 with slight arm-side run. More velocity likely in the tank once he incorporates his lower half in delivery. Inconsistent around the zone. Currently ranked No. 157 in Tennessee’s 2021 class.

6-foot-3 170-pounds. Lanky right handed arm. Straight OT arm action with good life on the FB. FB sits 84-87, topping out at 87 with 2100-2200 spin rate. Even though the arm angle is over the top there was still good mobility in the shoulder that produced a loose arm. Gets good extension with the tall frame, and has a strong finish. Struggled with SL command some, but the spin and action is there. There is more in the tank for sure.

He has a smooth leg kick that he gets down in order to be on time consistently. Good actions in the IF, with a strong arm that will allow him to stay on the left side of the infield. Does not get cheated at the plate, uses his lower-half well, and drives through the baseball with good extension.

Quick-twitch tendencies, moves with fluidity on the bases and in center field. Offensively, generates bat speed with his hands, looks to get his swing off but doesn’t chase out of the zone. Calm, relaxed approach, strong at contact, ball jumps off the barrel. Doesn’t get cheated in the box.

Nate Bach, 3B/OF, Boulder HS (CO), 2020

Sox Baseball

Chandler Tillman, RHP, Whitewater (GA), 2020
5-foot-11 155-pounds. Has been consistent on the mound every weekend this fall. Tillman is a huge competitor that can be trusted to throw strikes every time out. He can put his FB where he wants, and has the pitchability to throw his off-speed off of his fastball in the same tunnel. FB has been up to 86 this fall. Was 82-83 in his final inning of his 7 inning shutout, 1 hit performance. Has a 3 pitch mix, and can throw them all from strikes. Throws the CB with conviction in any count. An uncommitted 2020 that could be a huge asset to any colleges rotation or bullpen. Rare to see the consistency that he has shown for 3 weekends in a row. Currently ranked No. 42 for RHP’s in the 2020 class of Georgia.

Jack Seppings, RHP, Landmark Christian (GA), 2020
6-foot-1 160-pounds. Another solid arm for Sox Baseball. Arm works well, flashing an 87 on the final day of the tournament. FB was 84-86 with effective movement. Comes across body slightly which created deception for the hitter. Has a firm SL at 76-77 that he uses for an out pitch. Has the ability to pitch in to open up the zone, and attack with the fastball. Quick arm that has more velocity left to produce. Jacob Howell, RHP, East Coweta (GA), 2020
6-foot-4 185-pounds. Big, physical frame with a nice and easy motion. Low effort that produces strikes, and forces contact. FB worked up to 82, sat 79-81 most of the game against a tough lineup. He worked down in the zone, and made hitters swing the bat. CB was 70-73, and could flip it for strikes early and late in the count. There is definitely untapped strength in the 6-4 frame. Clean mechanics with a good arm path that can produce higher velo numbers.
Keegan Rich, LHP, East Coweta (GA), 2020
New Orleans commit. Matured body at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds. Up and down delivery, utilizes body strength well. Gets decent extension on all pitches. Fastball showed heavy life, living 85-87, touching 89. More impressive outings we have seen from Rich. Curve ball had good shape at 1/7; 72 mph.

Team Elite Black

Jordan Walker, 3B, Decatur HS (GA), 2020
Duke recruit, one of the top draft prospects in the 2020 class, currently ranked No. 1 in Georgia, No. 33 overall. Physical specimen, stands 6-foot-5, 210 pounds, lean, athletic build with proportional strength and plenty of room for continued physical development. Showed up shortly before Team Elite’s second game of the day and proceeded to make his presence known in each of his three at-bats. First, he roped a double to right center field, and followed it with a line-drive single to left field. Then he topped it off with a laser home run, 105-mph off the bat, that cleared the left field wall in a nanosecond. Quick-twitch athlete, generates plus bat speed with little effort; for his size and length, he stays connected. Present power with more projection in the future.

Fernando Gonzalez, C, North Cobb Christian HS (GA), 2020
Georgia recruit. A native of Panama, Gonzalez should quickly become one of the fastest rising national catching prospects in the 2020 draft class. 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter, compact build with lean strength. High-level defensive backstop. Possesses extremely soft hands, athletic feet and flexible hips; blocks well. Sticks pitches, steals strikes; overall framing abilities are advanced. Arm is strong and accurate with finish through the bag, consistent 1.95.2.10 pop times. Offensively, has a compact, balanced swing; generates easy bat speed and is strong at contact. Showed ability to hit to all fields. Lined a single back up the box; laced an outer-half fastball the other way, and has the hand speed to turn on the inner half. Runs well.
Ty Floyd, RHP, Rockmart HS (GA), 2020
LSU recruit, currently ranked No. 82 nationally, No. 3 in Georgia’s 2020 class. 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, lean, athletic build. Topped out at 94 in the first inning, sitting 91-92. In the second, worked 88-93 with his fastball and 88-90 in the third inning. Threw a high volume of strikes with his fastball.. Breaking ball is inconsistent in shape, mostly early break in the mid-70s. Possesses plus arm speed. Soft stab at hand break but gets it up and out consistently.
Carter Holton, LHP, Benedictine Military HS (GA), 2021
Vanderbilt recruit, currently ranked No. 57 nationally, No. 6 in Georgia’s 2021 class. Thin 5-foot-11, 160-pound left-handed pitcher with an extremely fast arm at foot strike. Carved for Team Elite Black in his start, pounding the strike zone with his 88-90 fastball. Pitched at 87-89 in the third inning. Effectively mixed three pitches. Slider sat 75-76 while his straight change was 80-81. Punched out four straight to start the game.
Chance Vaught, LHP, Mobile Christian HS (AL), 2020
Arkansas-Little Rock recruit. 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, thin frame with room for continued physical development. Threw one inning for Team Elite Black in relief and impressed. Possesses an extremely quick, athletic arm coming out of a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 85-87 with some arm-side life - more velocity in the tank. Struggled to land the breaking ball, but it showed flashes of being a banger. It’s tight with sharp late downer action at 71-73 mph. Showed potential of being a plus pitch in the future.
Jackson Boyd, MIF, Hebron Christian HS (GA), 2020
Uncommitted. 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder with some strength. Takes highly competitive at-bats; short, compact swing, direct path with some bat speed and barrel awareness. Barreled up the baseball in the doubleheader Saturday night, collecting multiple hits, including a double. Runs well and plays with energy. William Haberstock, RHP, Centennial HS (GA), 2020
North Alabama commit. 6-foot-3, 185 pounds; proportional strength. Durable body with a quick arm that produced a FB up to 88; lived in the 86-87 range. Athletic on the mound, Haberstock showed ability to command the zone and mix in quality breaking pitches. Curveball worked sharp and low at 72 mph.
