Pool A
ABC Next 15u - Blue
Adam Meilleur, SS, Academie Baseball Canada, 2022
5-foot-8, 165 pounds. Had one of the most impressive defensive skill sets of the event. Very fluid and quick hands on ground balls and transfers. Light on his feet and showed good range to both sides. Has enough carry on throws to make all the plays. Can throw from all slots and showed advanced body control on balls fielded on the run.
Jimmy Dionne, LHP, Academie Baseball Canada, 2023
Projectable arm at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds. Frame has ability to add strength. Uses a full arm motion to repeat his delivery. Balanced all the way through with straight up and down to balance point. Frontside has tendency to fall off at times. Fastball sat 76-78 from a H3/4 slot. Showed some armside run and missed down in the zone with FB; got some to chase.
NextLVL Groves
Justin England, RHP, South Paulding (GA), 2021
6-foot-2, 215 pounds. Solid start on the mound, mainly in part to feel for three pitches. Short arm action; hides ball well. Heavy fastball that lived 80-82, touching 83. Mixed slider in well with fastball. Showed two different shapes; 10/4 shape had tight spin and worked well away from RHH; 67-69. Showed changeup sparingly to LHH at 73 mph. Strong bodied arm with good presence and feel.
Justin England (2021; @SouthBaseballDC) looking sharp in his start for @nextlvl_i. Showing feel for 3 pitches; relying heavily on FB/SL combo. FB heavy in the zone at 80-82,T83. SL at 67-69 with late action. Flashed a CH to pickup a K at 73. #PBRFC @PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/Ml6l5OhsIU

East Cobb Yankees
Ryan Taylor, RHP, River Ridge (GA), 2022
5-foot-11, 150 pounds; slim, wiry build. Showed to be a good athlete on the mound. Uses an up-tempo delivery with a big leg kick. Works down-hill, lands glove-side. Arm angle stays flat throughout with above average armspeed. Fastball sat in the high 70s with some sink. Slows arm down, slightly, on changeup at 65 mph.
Pool B
STB Scout Team
Bryce Herring, 2B/3B, Dutchtown (GA), 2024
5-foot-3, 105-pound right-handed hitting infielder, still has a long way to go before being physically mature, has a good athletic frame to build upon. Offensively, keeps it simple throughout, balanced setup, short hand load back coupled with a short stride, remains balanced. Handles the bat well with a short, line drive type swing, barrel works level through the zone, takes a middle/pull approach, consistently deposited balls in shallow left field over the entirety of the PBR Fall Classic. Defensively, high defensive IQ, always found himself in the right place at the right time. Younger brother of 2019 PBR Future Games Team Georgia member Bryant Herring.
‘24 INF Bryce Herring (@DHSDutch; @SmarTensetrain) handles the bat well out of the leadoff spot, despite his undersized frame, plenty of growth left to do. High defensive IQ. Younger brother of 2019 #PBRFutureGames #TeamGeorgia member OF Bryant Herring. @PBRGeorgia #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/QDAyc9ahLt

Michael Zito, INF, Blessed Trinity (GA), 2024
5-foot-10, 130 pounds; compact build with untapped frame. Hits from an athletic, quiet stance. Balanced throughout swing, bath path stays level. Ball jumped off bat in consecutive at-bats with two opposite-field singles. Hits off back-side and uses hands to be free and easy through the zone. Surely has the foundation at the plate to build on when the physical tools progress.
Nice piece of hitting from 2024 INF, Michael Zito. Simple, fundamental swing. Second hit of the game, both hard line drives to the backside. @SmarTensetrain #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/II5le5MrfF

Lucas Meehan, 1B, West Forsyth (GA), 2023
Left-handed hitting first baseman at 6-foot, 180 pounds; untapped, physically with potential to fill frame with plenty of strength. Hits from upright stance, loose rhythm. Hands work straight back during load. Pull-side approach with ability to drop barrel head on the ball.
Lucas Meehan (2023; @WestFoCoBball) starts his weekend off with a 2 RBI base hit for @SmarTensetrain. Hits with rhythm; loose hands throughout and lets the barrel work. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/2riiX1yvCN

ABC Next 15u - Red
Thimoty Morritt, RHP/C, Pierre-Laporte (QC), 2023
6-foot-0 205-pounds. One of the most impressive catchers of the weekend. Really works hard behind the plate. Posted consistent 2.1 pop times in between innings. Smooth left-handed swing at the plate, handled the bat well all weekend. Good timing and rhythm in the swing. Strong built ‘23 that I expect to find more power in the swing in the future. Mature defensively behind the plate, controls the game and is vocal.
2023 Thimoty Morritt (@ABCacademie) drives on to the left side for a 1B. 6’0 205lb LHH handles the bat well. Strong base w/ good timing and rhythm. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/md3tplOwrf

Mathys Ayotte, RHP, Marie-River (QC), 2022
A thick frame at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Ayotte uses a strong lower-half to work down-hill. Rotational finish off heel-land. Arm has a full, loose arm out of a H3/4 slot. Fastball showed plus command with velocity living 79-81. Relied heavily on breaking ball when ahead in the count. Showed late, sharp break with shades of 11/5 action; 69-72 mph.
2022 Mathys Ayotte gets things rolling for @ABCacademie on the mound. Strong build at 6-1/190. Full, clean arm. FB sitting 79-81 with good location. Trusts CB; sharp break at 69-72. @PBR_Alberta #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/9ubq7xaWmA

Tiger USA / ATL METRO RBI
Francis Thorne Jr., 1B, Stephenson (GA), 2022
6-foot-4, 180 pounds; lean, lanky frame. Left-handed hitter who does not get cheated at the plate. Slightly open stance, big load in hands, lands open. Aggressive swing that looks to drive the ball pull-side. Good athlete with raw ability that will continue to develop.
TGBA Blue
Trevor Booton, RHP, LaGrange (GA), 2023
Very projectable arm; 6-foot-3, 155 pounds. Upright delivery with a short stride. Arm worked quick from an over-the-top slot. Frontside and stride work on-line. Very good balance throughout. Athletic actions and base; strength and velocity will come for the young arm as the FB sat in the upper-70s. Strong command.
2023 Trevor Booton (Lagrange HS) showing plus command for @teamgabaseball. Steep downward plane from OT slot; Sitting in high 70s. Projectable arm at 6-3/155. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/fhAOV5EOvc

Pool C
TGBA Red
Francesco Capocci, 3B, Alliance Academy (GA), 2023
6-foot-2, 172 pounds; long, lanky, and athletic in the field. Continues to impress all over the field. Showed very advanced defensive actions at the hot-corner. Hands stand out with fluidity. Feet work well laterally and moving forward. Strong arm across the diamond. Bat has shown steady improvement. Long levers. Rotational load, level path, pull-side pop. Continues to have feel for body type, but is a very interesting, projectable player that had a strong fall season. Touched 85 on the mound.
2023 3B/RHP Francesco Cappoci continues to impress for @teamgabaseball. Long levers at 6-2/175, swing has really improved each time out. Very advanced defensively and also been mid-80s on the mound. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/xPu586cj4n

Tyrus Cobb, OF, Luella (GA), 2022
5-foot-9, 165 pounds; solid, compact build with strength. Had a solid weekend at the plate, showing a good approach, with the ability to hit the ball square to all fields. Hits with bat rested on shoulder, minimal movement until load. Bat comes straight to hitting position. Uphill path and looks to put the ball in the air. Above average bat speed that allows to make quick offensive decisions.
Hawks Baseball
Brady Jones, SS, Decatur (GA), 2022
5-foot-11, 170 pounds. Very athletic frame with strong a strong physical display. Moves well all over the field. Showed strong actions at shortstop, decent carry on throws across the infield. Fluid defensive player. At the plate, hits from a balanced, athletic stance. Upright stance with rocker timing. Backside comes through well during swing. Level bat path with line-drive approach. Good runner.
Brady Jones (Decatur HS) has impressed this weekend for Hawks Baseball. The 2022 SS shows very fluid actions in the field with present arm strength. Just missed on swings yesterday but punches an off speed pitch the outfield for an RBI single ⤵️⤵️ #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/eXLItS0qdo

Pool D
Ninth Inning Royals - Honeycutt
Aaron Lopez, INF/C, Riverwood (GA), 2022
5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder and catcher, proportional build with strength throughout. Offensively, has been a force at the plate for Ninth Inning Royals - Honeycutt all fall at LakePoint. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup with an athletic bend in his knees, hands start high dropping on load, stays balanced throughout, good rhythm. Has shown the ability to drive the ball to all fields. High energy player and it shows in his defensive makeup. Behind the dish the arm works loose and with present strength, fluid footwork and quick to release.
Jabari Daniely, 3B/1B, Parkview (GA), 2022
6-foot-2, 195-pound right-handed hitting corner infield, thick, stocky frame, strength in his upper and lower half, with firming up of the frame could be a force at the plate. Offensively, open setup, hands start high and just off the ear of his helmet with the bat held straight up, hands drop to letter height on load, short leg lift stride. Does not get cheated on his swings, hunts pitches on the middle half and lets his hands go, looking to elevate the ball and do damage.
Pool F
Titans Baseball 16U
Garrett Goblish, RHP, Woodstock (GA), 2021
5-foot-10 170-pounds. Started the semi-final game for the Titans. Was a standout at the GA showdown. Velo has held through the fall. FB topped out at 86 this past weekend, sat 83-84 with really good life and ASR. Showed the ability to throw all pitches for strikes. Had a plan and executed batter after batter. Kept hitters guessing, and made the FB more effective with having the off speed for strikes. Competes on the mound, and has a really loose arm that projects more velo to come. Look forward to seeing Goblish at Woodstock this spring.
Really liked this 4-pitch sequence from 2021 RHP Garrett Golblish (@1TitansNation; Woodstock HS) FB is sitting 83-84. SL 70-72 w/ same arm speed as FB. Athletic arm, showing pitch-ability. Staying down in the zone w/ late life on the FB. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/KVw2XZIVo0

Parker Hughes, OF, Lassister (GA), 2021
5-foot-9 165-pounds. Continues to impress this fall. Showed more power this weekend, just missed a HR where he used the speed to get in for a 3B. Played LF some this weekend, and showed he can cover ground there as well as CF. Moves really well, continues to run the bases well. He was a key piece in the Titans championship run. Hughes is a must watch player for the ‘21 class at Lassiter.
Bullpen Braves 15u
Ben McDow, RHP, Perry (GA), 2023
6-foot-1 170-pounds. Really likes the frame, and actions of the ‘23. Bug kid for his age, and shows all the right tools to be successful on the mound in the coming years. He is still growing into his body, and learning how to control it. FB was 77-79. Had an OT arm slot with a really good 12-6 CB at 65-67. He attacked hittes early and kept them off balance.
2023 RHP Ben McDow (Bullpen Braves; Perry HS) is filling up the zone early in the count. Scoreless through 2. FB 77-79, good 12-6 CB that he can throw for strikes. 6’1 frame. #PBRFC pic.twitter.com/qQqCxSNhml
