Scouting Report

11/10/19 - 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder, broad, muscular build, strength throughout, will only continue to add to frame. Ran a 7.31 laser-timed 60. Offensively, tall, open setup, leg kick timing trigger, hands drop and load back smoothly, aggressive with hips, turns over on front leg through contact. Takes a power approach at the plate, looks to turn on the ball and drive it with force to the pull-side, strength in hands and wrists give him a chance even on mis-hits, fluid rhythm, 87 exit velocity. Defensively, worked out at first base, arm plays short to a high ¾ slot, some looseness, accurate, 73 across the infield. Good feel around the bag, is athletic with his movement and actions, smooth glove hand, fluid footwork and clean on exchanges.

 

9/25/19 - 6-foot-1, 195 pounds; thick build with strength throughout. Hits from tall, open stance. Tempo gather on load. Timing is on with front side. Has present power in bat and showed it to all fields. Physical bat to watch.
