Underclass Fall World Series took place this past weekend, October 9th through the 12th. Today, we present to you the Underclass Fall World Series Scout Blog. The Scout Blog provides insider information and scouting notes from the PBR Scouting Staff during the tournament. Featured in the blog is information unsigned prospects, draft prospects and anything else that is notable. We provide a wide range of information, including player evaluations, velocities, pop times, home to first times and more. Coy Allman, C, N/A (PA), 2025

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher, young frame with plenty of time and room for growth, showed advanced actions behind the plate. Arm action is short and quick from an over-the-top slot, accurate on throws. Fluid footwork and transfers. Especially impressed during the rain with his ability to block and make accurate throws to second, recorded a 2.18 pop time in game to catch a runner stealing.


Michael Anderson, RHP, Bonner-Pendergast (PA), 2022

Large, durable frame at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds. Controlled delivery to balance with slight hip-turn. Short arm action upon separation, hiding ball well. Fastball showed late life with run at 84-86; weak contact with heaviness on pitches. Breaking ball showed 12/6, downer action low in the zone; 72-74 mph. 4 IP, 5 K, 0 ER in outing.
Chris Billingsley, RHP/OF, Bibb County (AL), 2023

Long, lanky frame at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds. Nice job out of the bullpen, going 3 IP, 5 K, 0 ER on Saturday in a high-leverage game. Short arm action with quick arm speed on both fastball and breaking ball. Fastball came out well at 81-84, touching 85; velo continued to climb over the span of the outing. Spun breaking ball well at 65-67 with 12/6 action from a H3/4 slot.
Michael Bright, SS, Lithia Springs (GA), 2023

6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop, lean, athletic build, wiry strength, some quick twitch actions. At the plate, open setup with an athletic bend in his knees, hands load back smoothly, short stride, good balance. Gap-to-gap type hitter with a quick, whippy barrel, hands gain extension through contact, barrel works mostly level through the zone.
Jacob Brown, SS/RHP, Father Gabriel Richard (MI), 2023

West Virginia commit. 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed two-way prospect, projectable, athletic frame, strength throughout with much more on the way as he continues to physically mature. On the mound, arm works short and quick on the back-side to a ¾ slot. Mixes timing at balance points. Fastball sat 83-86 with run and sink. Curveball, 12/6 shape, depth, some late bite to it. Changeup, 76-78. At the plate, gap-to-gap type hitter, strong hands, generates hard contact with a mostly level swing, more power to come.  
Cooper Cohn, C/RHP, McHenry (IL), 2023

5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, physical frame, advanced strength in lower half. Stood out defensively for his strong arm, short, loose arm action out of an over-the-top slot, recorded a 1.97 pop time in game. Creates a large target behind the plate, flexible hips and knees, quick, clean transfer, fluid footwork. On the mound, arm played up to 88 mph. Offensively, takes a power approach at the plate, looking to do damage with each swing.
Jonah Conradt, RHP, Hortonville (WI), 2023

6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed pitcher, lean, athletic frame, loose actions. Arm works long and loose with quick arm speed, some stab action on the back-side but arm remains continuous to a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 84-87 with some armside run. Curveball, 73-75, 12/6 shape, late break, swing and miss pitch, near 2700 spin rate.
Cooper Consiglio, LHP, East Lake (FL), 2023

5-foot-11, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, lean, athletic build. Arm works clean on the back-side, accelerates quickly to a ¾ slot, loose action. Works from the first base side of the mound, drop and drive delivery, keeps momentum on line towards home, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 80-84, armside run. Chnageup, sinking action, 75-77. Curveball, 12/6 shape with some late bite, potential swing and miss pitch. Feel for all three pitches, high volume of strikes.
Hunter Denney, RHP/OF, Eastside (GA), 2023

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder, strong build, broad shoulders. On the mound, ran his fastball up to 85, some effort in delivery. At the plate, wide setup, loads weight onto back-side, short stride, carries momentum forward through contact, finishing on his front-side. Barrel works short and level through the zone, gap-to-gap type hitter. Advantageous runner on the base paths, looks for the extra bag.
Cole Donnelly, MIF, The Haverford School (PA), 2023

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting middle infield, athletically built, top of the order bat, set the tone hitting out of the leadoff spot most of the tournament. A gritty, tough player, consistently took competitive at-bats, made the pitcher work to get him out. Barrel works mostly level through the zone with quick bat speed and strong hands, takes a line drive approach, showed the ability to use the entire field.    
Barrett Eldridge, 1B/C, Walton (GA), 2022
6-foot-4, 200 pounds; strong, solid build, throughout. Had a strong weekend at the plate, showing consistent pull-side, line drive approach. Slight uphill swing path. Hands are quick and produce impressive barrel-whip through the zone.
Brant Ertel, RHP, Franklin County (IN), 2023

6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Had a strong outing for the Cincy Flames, throwing 5 scoreless innings, picking up four strikeouts. Athletic movements throughout delivery. Quick after balance point with above average arm speed. Fastball sat 83-86 with confidence in the zone; mainly attacked with pitch. Breaking ball: 75-76. 17th-ranked 2023 player in Indiana.
Hayden Everett, INF, Dunham School (LA), 2023

5-foot-7, 135-pound infielder, athletically built, young frame that has plenty of time to mature. Keeps things simple at the plate. Open, setup, athletic bend in knees, smooth rhythm in hands, short stride, good balance. Line drive type hitter, level barrel path through the zone, uses the middle of the field. Competes in every AB, a tough out, good feel for the barrel, puts the ball in play consistently.
AJ Ewing, SS, Springboro (OH), 2023

Wright State commit. 6-foot, 172-pound left-handed hitting shortstop, strong, athletic frame. Really stood out offensively, leading US Elite to the title at the Underclass Fall World Series. Confident in the box, nothing appears to faze him. Swing is violent, looks to do damage every time he steps to the plate. Barrel path varies between level and uphill through the zone, in favorable counts will look to elevate with force, when he has to, will shorten up and use a line drive approach middle/pull. Athletic hands and strength throughout frame produce present bat speed and more is on the way as he continues to develop.
Ethan Gibson, RHP/SS, Abingdon (VA), 2023
Virginia Tech commit. 6-foot, 160 pounds. Uber-competitive start, going 7 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 10 K. Athletic delivery, high leg kick, works down the mound after separation. Showed ability to carry velocity over innings, sitting 83-86; touching 85 in the seventh inning. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape at 67-69; feel for pitch, back-door ability to LHH with some swing and miss ability to RHH low in the zone. 8th-ranked 2023 player in Virginia.
Eric Griffin, 3B, Bishop McNamara (MD), 2024

5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting third baseman, physical build, advanced strength throughout. Balanced, open setup, hands cock on load, short stride, great balance through finish. Easy effort swing that showed power to all fields, ball jumps off bat, quick bat speed, strong hands. Big power potential with more to come as he continues to mature and fill out.
Hayden Gustavson, 3B/C/RHP, Fort White (FL), 2023

6-foot-1, 190 pounds. Strong, physical presence at the plate. Showed advanced barrel control and a smooth, quick swing. Gets rotational on swing and showed ability to turn on pitches with ease. Strong arm across the infield. Also showed ability on the mound; fastball topping out at 87 mph. 2020 Team Florida Future Game member.
EJ Hankerson, 3B/SS, Calvert Hall (MD), 2023

5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and shortstop, strong, athletic build, consistently took competitive at-bats. Balanced setup with an athletic bend in his knees, keeps it simple. Barrel works quick and level, gains extension through the zone. Line drive type hitter, uses middle/pull.
Gavin Hasche, RHP, Legend (CO), 2023
Lanky frame with a loose, effortless arm. Throws from a ¾ slot. Showed feel for two pitches in outing. Fastball sat 81-84, touching 85 with late armside run. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape at 68-73; threw to both RHH and LHH. Had 7 strikeouts over 5.1 IP on the weekend.
Kevin Henrich, RHP/OF, Great Valley (PA), 2022

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, wiry strength, quick twitch actions, plays the game with an aggressive demeanor. On the mound, long, loose arm action, quick, whippy arm speed, ¾ slot. Goes right after hitters with fastball/curveball combo, challenging them. Fastball sat 85-86, touched 87, sinking action. Curveball, 66-68, 10/4 shape, sharp action, swing and miss pitch, high spin rate. At the plate, advanced bat and hand speed, ball jumps off the bat when he squares it up, middle/pull approach, hit two home runs on the weekend.
Jackson Hinchliffe, RHP, Rumson-Fair Haven (NJ), 2023

6-foot, 158-pound right-handed pitcher, lean frame, plenty of room and time to fill out, showed great feel on the mound and a high level of pitchability. Long, loose arm action, full arm swing on the back-side, quick arm speed to a ¾ slot. Controlled the zone with fastball and slider, went right after hitters, high volume of strikes. Fastball, sat 81-85, running action. Slider, downer action, depth, 69-71, swing and miss pitch.
Brett House, OF, North Gwinnett (GA), 2023
6-foot-3, 195-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, powerful frame, strength throughout, projectable. Balanced setup at the plate, short stride, short hand load with a cocking of the barrel, explosive lower half, good balance through finish. Takes a power approach at the plate, has the ability to use the whole field, consistently generates hard contact, swing path is somewhat uphill through the zone, gains extension through contact. Big power potential.
Daniel Jacobs, RHP, West chester East (PA), 2023

6-foot-4, 245-pound right-handed pitcher, physical, extra large frame, strength throughout. Long arm action, showing wide on the back-side, high front side, ¾ slot, rotational. Fastball sat 84-88 early on in the game, settled in at 81-83 late in the game, natural cut action, creates weak contact and swing and misses. Relied primarily on his fastball, also showed a changeup at 74-77 and a curveball at 62-65.
Aaron Jamison, OF, Morgantown (WV), 2023

West Virginia commit. 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, athletically built with developing strength throughout frame, impact top of the order bat for the Appalachian Aces. Starts with weight preloaded on back-side, hands load back smoothly into a near arm bar, short stride, great balance through finish. Advanced bat speed, athletic swing, quick hands allow for him to get to pitches on time, uses the entire field, can drive the ball with force. Advanced approach, does not try to play outside of himself, goes with pitches.
Maddox Jones, RHP/OF, Silverdale Academy (TN), 2024

6-foot, 165 pounds; slim build with tons of room to add weight and strength. Controlled, repeatable up to balance-point, drop and drive with long stride-out. Full, long arm action. Showed large leaps from this past summer. Up 6 MPH on fastball, touching 87; sitting 82-86. Breaking ball is developing at 74-76.
Jake Kozlowski, OF/SS, Neshaminy (PA), 2023

5-foot-11, 167-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, projectable, athletic build. Offensively, open setup, hands load back into a near arm bar, long stride to a balanced position, great balanced through finish. Swing works short to the zone, long through, somewhat uphill through the zone, generates hard contact with quick bat speed, gap-to-gap type hitter.
Chase Krewson, OF, South Fayette (PA), 2023

Notre Dame commit. 6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, athletically built, quick twitch muscle, an impact bat. Quick, athletic hands, whippy bat speed, advanced feel for the barrel and bat to ball skills. Mature approach at the plate, showed the ability to use the whole field and some pull-side power. More power on the way as he fills out his lean frame with strength.
Brandon Levy, RHP/INF, Parkway (LA), 2023

Louisiana-Lafayette commit. 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed two-way prospect, strong build, high-waisted. On the mound worked his fastball up to 90, sitting 88-90 early in his start. At the plate, showed big power potential, athletic hands drop on load into a power position, barrel path works mostly level through the zone, generates hard contact middle/pull.
Nathan Manley, C, Moeller (OH), 2023

5-foot-8, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher, strong build especially in his lower half,stood out defensively for US Elite all tournament long. Defensively, arm works short and quick to an over-the-top slot, throws are true and accurate. Flexible knees and hips, gets into a wide receiving position with runners on, at-times receives with a knee down, soft receiver, quick hands and fluid footwork, recorded a pop time of 2.10 during the championship game on a pitch he had to reach for. Offensively, the swing works short and quick, strong hands/wrists, drives the ball with present bat speed, more on the way as he continues to physically mature.
Tommy Marsh, 3B/RHP, Cherry Creek (CO), 2023

6-foot-1, 190 pounds; thick, strong build. Versatile player who played all around the diamond, including outfield over the course of the weekend. Quiet set up in the box with raised load and leg lift. Stays on backside on swing. Bat has some thump behind it. Ran a 7.27 over the summer.
Kevin McGonigle, SS, Bonner-Pendergast (PA), 2023

Auburn commit. 5-foot-10, 165 pounds; compact build with strong lower-half. One of the more impressive defenders on the weekend. Make routine plays with ease, showing smooth, easy actions. Hands and feet worked in sync and gained ground with feet, allowing strong, accurate throws across the diamond. Moved athletically on slow-rollers with ability to throw from lower arm slot. At the plate, starts with a crouched stance with rhythm in hands from the left side. Hands get to a consistent load position and get extended upon contact. Long strides on the bases. 8th-ranked 2023 player in Pennsylvania.
Jaxon Milam, SS, Russell County (AL), 2023

6-foot-1, 155-pound left-handed hitting shortstop, athletically built, continues to add strength to his frame. Swing works athletically, hands able to get on top of pitches and create line drive contact to all fields. Good feel at the plate and for the barrel, has the wherewithal to go with pitches.
Will Moore, RHP, Ladue Horton Watkins (MO), 2023

6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, strong, projectable frame, much more strength on the way as he continues to physically mature. Took some time to settle into his start, but once he did, generated weak contact and swing and miss with his fastball/curveball. Arm works short with a soft stab on the back-side, keeps arm moving continuously on back-side to a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 82-85, touched 86. Curveball, 11/5 depth, some bite when he located low in the zone, 69-73.  
Nathan Owen, RHP/SS, Evangel Christian (AL), 2024
Compact build at 5-foot-8, 155 pounds; thick lower-half that was utilized upon delivery and push off the rubber. Impressive outing, challenging hitters with fastballs with command to both sides of the plate; sat 80-83. Slider showed makings of go-to out pitch at 72-74 with tight spin.
Tyshon Patty, SS, Mountain View (GA), 2023
5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop, athletically built with developing strength throughout. Balanced setup at the plate, smooth load back, short stride, controlled actions, good balance. Gap-to-gap type hitter with pull-side power, quick hands, barrel works mostly level through the zone, flashed the ability to generate back spin on fly balls.

Elijah Reece, RHP, North Hall (GA), 2022

6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed pitcher, long, projectable frame, plenty of room to fill out with strength, has seen a near 10 mph velo jump in his fastball over the past year. Arm works long and quick to an over-the-top slot, some whip, really pulls down on the ball through release. Fastball sat 84-86, touched 87, works downhill. Changeup, 77-80, sinking action. Curveball, 12/6 shape, 70-72, tunnels well with fastball.
Ryan Reich, RHP, Selinsgrove (PA), 2022

Seton Hall commit. 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, strong build. Arm plays with some length on the back-side, continuous action out to a ¾ slot. Ran his fastball up to 88 early in the game, sitting 85-88, settled in at 81-84 as the game progressed. Gained feel for slider the deeper he went, sweeping action, 71-75. Created weak contact and swing and misses, was able to get himself out of some trouble in the second inning, cruised through the rest of his start.
Dylan Reid, RHP/3B, North Springs (GA), 2022

5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed two-way prospect, proportional frame with strength throughout. On the mound, arm works long to an over-the-top slot. Fastball topped out at 85, sat 82-85, high volume of strikes with. Curveball, shape varied between 11/5 and 12/6, depth and bite, garnered swing and misses.
Holden Robinson, OF, Christian Brothers (TN), 2024

6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, advanced strength throughout, muscular build. Balanced setup, hands load back quickly, short stride, good balance. Strong hands, gap-to-gap type hitter, barrel works level through the zone, creates hard contact.
Cooper Romich, C/OF, Churchville Chili (NY), 2023
5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher and outfielder, strong, athletic build that projects to carry significant strength, made an impact with a powerful pull-side swing. Barrel works short and level through the zone, generates backspin on fly balls. Creates hard contact ashe gets his hands extended through the zone. Had multiple extra base hits on the weekend including a home run.
JT Shank, 1B/3B, Rock Canyon (CO), 2023

6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed hitting corner fielder, strong, physical frame, a good athlete for his size, more strength on the way as he continues to mature, impact power bat. Balanced setup, smooth rhythm in his hands, high hands load back as he brings the barrel vertical, short stride. Takes a power approach at the plate, showed power to all fields, generates hard contact consistently, barrel path works mostly level, gains extension, when he wants to can elevate the ball and do damage.
Luke Stevenson, C/3B, Wake Forest (NC), 2023

6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher and third baseman, strong, physical frame, impact power bat. Swung a big stick from the left-side all weekend long, generates hard pull-side contact. Barrel works short to the zone, long through, flat path, some whip in barrel, strong hands.
Ethan Stewart, RHP, Meigs County (OH), 2023

6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed pitcher, strong, physical frame. On the mound, arm works long on the back-side, showing low, accelerates quickly to a ¾ slot with some effort. Fastball sat 85-87, touched 88, controlled the zone with. Changeup, 72-75, late sinking action, swing and miss pitch. Battled through rainy conditions, impressed with his ability to throw strikes despite these conditions.
Cale Stricklin, C, North Oconee (GA), 2023
One of top uncommitted players in the state. Strong, athletic build at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds. Impressive receiving behind the plate with quiet body movement. Advanced blocking skills that have been shown over the span of the spring and summer. Wide set up at the plate with quiet hand movement. Line drive, gap-to-gap approach with power potential. Simple, easy swing. 2020 Team Georgia Future Game member.
Dylan Thompson, SS, Sam Houston (LA), 2023

Texas A&M commit. 6-foot-1, 160-pound, lean, lanky frame, wiry strength, lots of room to fill out his athletic build. An impact top of the order bat for Louisiana Knights. Pre-pitch, hands have smooth rhythm as  they load back and drop with a cocking of the barrel. Quick, athletic hands produce whippy barrel speed, advanced feel for the barrel and bat to ball skills. Showed situational awareness, knowing when to shorten up and put the ball in play and when to really let his swing go with aggression. Defensively, smooth, fluid actions while fielding, more than enough arm strength to stick on the left-side at the next level.
Colby Umbarger, OF, North Iredell (NC), 2023

East Carolina commit. 6-foot-1, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, lean, athletic frame, some quick twitch actions. Has an athletic approach at the plate, smooth, fluid swing, gap-to-gap type approach. God feel at the plate, strong hands, able to get the job done situationally.
Jason Walk, INF/OF, North Cobb Christian (GA), 2023

5-foot-9, 138-pound switch-hitting infielder and outfielder, athletically built, young frame has plenty of development left to do. Tall, open setup, smooth load, long stride to a balanced position. Quick hand speed, level barrel path through the zone, creates line drive contact, looks to put the ball in play and use his speed to disrupt the defense. Aggressive on the base paths, loos to steal and take the extra bag.
Holden Warmath, RHP/SS, Covington (TN), 2023

6-foot-2, 160-pound right-handed two-way prospect, lean, athletic build, plenty of room to fill out. On the mound, arm works short and clean on the back-side, quick arm speed to low ¾ slot. Fastball sat 81-85, controlled the zone, high volume of strikes. Soldier, 67-70, late downer action, at its best when located low in the zone, bottomed out, swing and mis pitch, at-times got around the pitch, creating sweeping action.
John Alex Walsh, RHP/OF, Alexandria (LA), 2023

6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed two-way prospect, strong, projectable frame. On the mound, arm works short and quick to a ¾ slot, loose action. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, overpowering. Had some command issues in his first appearance of the tournament, came back in bracket play, sitting 84-86, touching 87 and commanded the ball better. At the plate, quick, smooth swing, advanced bat speed.
Andrew Wells, 3B/OF, Columbus (GA), 2023

6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and outfielder, strong, physical build, broad shoulders. Balanced setup, smooth rhythm in his hands, loads back, short leg lift stride, good balance. Showed the ability to generate hard contact all fields, quick, strong hands, gains extension through the zone.
Nazzan Zanetello, SS, Christian Brothers College (MO), 2023
Miami commit. 6-foot-1, 167-pound right-handed hitting shortstop, highly athletic with quick twitch muscle, wiry strength, lean build. Explosive bat speed, barrel works level through the zone, pull-side power, fluid actions. Elite speed on the diamond, causes havoc on the base paths. Defensively, smooth, fluid movement, great range to both sides, soft glove hand, quick on transfers, has plenty of arm strength to stick on the left side of the infield. High level prospect to follow.
