AUGUSTA, GA  - The Prep Baseball Georgia Staff traveled to Augusta Christian High School for the Augusta Preseason ID.  This event was an opportunity to see a talented group from the 2025-2028 class. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, ran the 60 yard dash, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw using Trackman. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Sunday. Our goal at Prep Baseball is to travel around the state of Georgia to find the hidden talent among the different regions within the peach state.

Today, we will dive into the metrics from the infielders that attended with the help of our tech partners, broken down by each individiual player below.

Caleb Greene, Augusta Christian (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: 2B
Body: 5-5, 100 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, hands start up, small leg lift. Loose swing, good rhythm. 63.1 mph bat speed with 13g of rotational acceleration.

Power: 89 mph max exit velocity (85.2 avg.); 334-foot max batted distance.

Defense: smooth footwork, good hands

Rylan Farlow, Greenbrier (GA), 2028

Body: 5-10, 150 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Standard stance, hands are up, small leg kick. Short compact swing, tracks the ball well. 63.8 mph bat speed with 10g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 mph max exit velocity (81.7 avg.); 315-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 82.00 mph. ball comes out well, fluid arm action
Defense: moves well, good hands

Dylan Morrison, North Augusta (SC), 2026

Hit: LHH. Standard stance, hands start up, toe tap. Smooth bat bath, good hands, syncs up well. 64.3 mph bat speed with 11g of rotational acceleration.
