East Georgia Rising Stars Preseason ID: Outfielder Reports

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Prep Baseball Georgia staff hosted the East Georgia Rising Stars Preseason ID at IVSA. This event was an opportunity to see a talented group of 2029-2030 players. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, ran the 30 yard dash using VALD Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw short bullpens with Trackman. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Saturday. Later this week, we will break down the stat leaders from the more traditional categories in our statistical analysis. Today, we take a look at the outfielder reports for each individual player that attended the event, with the help of our tech sponsors.

Brayden Couch, Cherokee Bluff (GA), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-9, 130 pounds.
Hit: LHH. Semi-neutral base with strong internal rotation. Good body control. Hands held high. Advanced approaches with strong opposite field presence. Shows power to all fields with good feel for the barrel with strong middle-middle bat path.
Power: 79 mph max exit velocity (70.6 avg.); 220-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 80.00 mph. OF - 81.00 mph. Strong over the top. Athletic mover.
Defense: Soft hands. Good footwork.
Athletic Testing: 4.03 runner in the 30-yard dash.

Camden Jackson, Jefferson (GA), 2030
Positional Profile: 3B/OF
Body: 5-7, 135 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Open stance with hands held high. Slight leg-kick load. Pure contact hitter with consistent swings on all pitches. Strong middle-middle swing.
Power: 76 mph max exit velocity (69.5 avg.); 243-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 68.00 mph. OF - 72.00 mph. Athletic, over the top arm action.
Defense: Plays ball well out front.
Athletic Testing: 4.17 runner in the 30-yard dash.

Frank Knowles III, Chattahoochee (GA), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/SS
Body: 6-0, 156 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Semi-wide base with toe tap load. Advanced approaches with disciplined swing and power to all fields. Ball jumps off the bat with authority.
Power: 82 mph max exit velocity (79.9 avg.); 246-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 78.00 mph. OF - 79.00 mph. Strong over the top arm. Good momentum, utilized by an athletic frame.
Defense: Plays ball out front. Solid footwork.
Athletic Testing: 3.91 runner in the 30-yard dash.

Caleb Sullivan, Buford (GA), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-2, 175 pounds.
Hit: RHH. Wide stance with neutral base. Long arms and hands held high. Ball jumps off the bat with authority. Middle-pull-side hitter with smooth swing that generates long line drives and fly balls.
Power: 89 mph max exit velocity (83.6 avg.); 298-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 76.00 mph. Over the top arm angle.
Defense: Plays ball out front.
Athletic Testing: 3.74 runner in the 30-yard dash.
