FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Preseason All-State Underclass Showcase travels to IVSA where this invite-only event that features the top prospects from the 2027 and 2028 grad classes. Every year, the Preseason All-State Showcase highlights the Who’s Who of the Georgia baseball landscape. This event is limited and exclusive to the top prospects in Georgia and serves as a springboard as you enter the high school season. Throughout the week here at PBR, we will be pumping out the content from this event. Today, we present the pitcher reports with the help from our tech partners we were able to break down and analyze the pitchers from the Preseason All-State Underclass showcase.

Landon Taylor, Thomas County Central (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 5-8, 128.1-pounds.
Delivery: Fair athletic delivery, with medium leg kick.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm action, across body.
FB: T79, 76-78 mph. Straight FB, some inconsistency with finding the zone. T2106, 1990 average rpm.
CB: 68-70 mph. Tight CB, with some late break over the plate. Threw well with some feel. T2708, 2532 average rpm.
SL: 68-70 mph. Glove side run, was able to find the zone with some misses T2496, 2437 average rpm.

Dominic Rossy, Walton (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-2, 193-pounds.
Delivery: Loose, high 3/4 slot.
Arm Action: RH. Controlled action. Really gets into the backside.
FB: T84, 78-84 mph. Lived in the bottom of the zone. Good life. T2290, 2160 average rpm.
CB: 66-68 mph. Good spin. More slider-like. Late action, plays well off the fastball. T2191, 2137 average rpm.

Trent Harrison, Central (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-1, 197-pounds.
Delivery: High 3/4 slot. Loose, with a good whip.
Arm Action: RH. Well paced, in sync delivery.
FB: T78, 73-77 mph. Gets a good run to the arm side. Controlled the strike zone. T2043, 1939 average rpm.
CB: 65-68 mph. Good feel for spin. Landed for strikes. T2108, 2033 average rpm.
CH: 68-74 mph. Fading action with sink. Plays really well off the fastball. T2033, 1889 average rpm.

Cal Williamson, North Atlanta (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-4, 200-pounds.
Delivery: High 3/4 slot. Strong finish.
Arm Action: LH. Controlled pace. Strong pulldown on the finish.
FB: T85, 84-85 mph. Gets a good sink, especially down in the zone. T2206, 2031 average rpm.
SL: 69-69 mph. Late, tight action. Works out of the same slot as the fastball. T2133, 2088 average rpm.
CH: 72-74 mph. Heavy run. Does a good job tunneling off the fastball. T1462, 1414 average rpm.

Connor Tysver, St. Pius X (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-2, 215-pounds.
Delivery: Over the top slot.
Arm Action: RH. Smooth, controlled pace delivery. Keeps everything in sync and gets down the mound well.
FB: T86, 84-85 mph. Good feel for the zone. Lived in the lower half. T1958, 1711 average rpm.
CB: 76-78 mph. Feel for spin. Landed for strikes. T2111, 1960 average rpm.
SL: 77-80 mph. Tighter action. Late break, compared to the CB. T2039, 1960 average rpm.
CH: 83-84 mph. Really good sink. Great pitch to throw off the fastball. T1497, 1418 average rpm.

Conner Paist, Evans (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds.
Delivery: Controlled delivery, good use of lower half.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 fluid arm action.
FB: T81, 80-81 mph. Painted corners, occasionally left higher in the zone. Overall good life present. T2302, 2238 average rpm.
CB: 68-69 mph. Some feel for finding the zone, occasionally tight 12/6 actions. T2374, 2343 average rpm.
SL: 70-73 mph. Glove side run present, shorter strike zone bite overall. T2357, 2237 average rpm.
CH: 75-76 mph. Fade and sink present, kept a consistent arm speed. T1608, 1540 average rpm.

Braxton Chandler, South Paulding (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-3, 170-pounds.
Delivery: Balanced delivery with a clean finish.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 slot with a longer arm circle.
FB: T82, 78-80 mph. Straight with some ride, occasional misses higher out of the zone. T2150, 2040 average rpm.
CB: 69-70 mph. Feel for spin, some tight rotation present. T2312, 2247 average rpm.
CH: 69-72 mph. Solid feel for pitch, straight movements and painted the zone. T2167, 1945 average rpm.

Gunner Fokken, Carrollton (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 6-0, 171-pounds.
Delivery: Balanced delivery, solid use of lower half.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 slot with a quick release.
FB: T83, 82-83 mph. Downplane with some jumps at the plate. T2288, 2167 average rpm.
