Summer Uncommitted Spotlight: Cade Sutton

Uncommitted. When thinking of the perfect blend of hit-tool and power, Sutton comes to mind. Batting an astounding .409 in PBR tournaments the right-handed hitter just flat out hits. Highlighting an advanced all-fields approach with simple actions in the box and a well-leveraged barrel through the zone. Consistently posting 90 + exit velocities, highlighting an innate feel for the barrel. The ground-up strength is very real from the 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior. In-game pitch recognition stands out as Sutton, seems to always put together a quality at-bat. As a result, boasted an 18 percent walk rate and an on-base percentage of .518 over PBR tournaments. A quality at-bat machine, that gets it done at the plate is poised for a big year with Pickens in the Spring.
