The Pahoa Daggers enter the 2025 season poised to improve upon their five-win season from last year and return a strong crop of their starters. It's a strong senior class with several key players set to graduate and they'll look to leave their mark on the program this spring. The Daggers closed out the 2024 season tied for 3rd place in the Big Island II Conference and will yet again be a sleeper in the conference as they look to compete with the teams at the top.

Below, we'll break down everything you need to know about Pahoa High School's baseball program heading into the 2025 season.

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS

As we mentioned above, the Daggers boast a strong senior class with plenty of versatility within the group. '25 LHP/OF Tripp Kahsen (Uncommitted) will be a go-to arm for Pahoa and the left-hander is able to fill up the zone with his four-pitch mix. Our staff has seen Kahsen up to 81mph on the TrackMan and will also contribute with duties in the outfield.

'25 C/RHP Maxwell Potter (Uncommitted) will be the main backstop and will have plenty of opportunities to contribute to the offense on a more regular basis. '25 3B/RHP Brayden Conda-Tolle (Uncommitted) was one of the teams top offensive contributors last spring and will look to lead the way again with bat-to-ball skills and run production. OF Jayden Majamay-Sumiki (Uncommitted) will be a leader in the outfield and his offensive production has continued to tick upwards each year in the program.

'26 INF/RHP Landon Haili (Uncommitted) is one of the top juniors in the program and will look to take the next big step in his game as the Daggers will rely on him more often this year and going forward. '25 UTL James Kocher (Uncommitted) will chip in anywhere the team needs on the defensive side which will keep his bat in the lineup more often.

TOP UNCOMMITTED UPPERCLASSMAN

Mentioned above as a top returning player, '25 LHP/OF Tripp Kahsen is the top uncommitted upperclassmen in the program as he prepares for his senior campaign. Kahsen has shown well at several Prep Baseball events over the past year and will be worth a look this spring for college programs still looking to add a left-handed arm to their 2025 recruiting class.

TOP UNCOMMITTED UNDERCLASSMAN

The lone top returning junior we mentioned above, '26 INF/RHP Landon Haili, also comes in as the teams top uncommitted 2026 and will still have two more spring seasons before going off to college. Haili is advanced on the infield with a good glove and great understanding of the game. The Pahoa HS junior will be a fun watch on the infield everytime he takes the field for the Daggers this spring.
