Unsigned Senior Spotlight: RHP Cade Watson
March 12, 2025
The winter schedule has come to a close as players are now preparing for the 2025 season which will be getting underway in the coming days, while other players have already got some game reps in with tournament play. The 2025 preseason showcase schedule featured the first-ever Hawaii Preseason Invitational which was an eight-team tournament to open up the year that saw all positional players run through a pro-style workout alongside our tech partners, while we also collected updated TrackMan pitching data on all arms during gameplay.
Our staff had eyes on over 100 players and with the season finally here, there is still a ton of quality uncommitted talent still on the board in Hawaii's senior class. Over the next couple weeks, our staff will begin highlighting some of these names who need to be on the radar of college coaches looking to roundout their 2025 class.
We continue our Top Uncommitted Senior Spotlight Series with '25 RHP Cade Watson of Punahou School who represented Hawaii on multiple occassions in 2024 at the Senior Future Games and West Coast Games, also attending the prestigeous Hawaii Fall Showcase. More on Watson below.

Scouting Report
Has truly upped his game over the 2024 summer/fall circuits. FB up to 88 and playing up with better command but it's the command of his SL and CHG that has enabled Watson to look like a RHP who should already be committed to a DI. Best CHG to date at Hawaii Fall Showcase, improved deception, fade/HM and touch to now it's arguably his best secondary. Short/true SL is a pitch he's always had as his go-to but now up a grade due to improved command and is equally effective vs RH/LHH's. DI's know who he is and could be a late commit soon.
