2024 Prep Baseball Iowa State Games: Data Dive

NORWALK, IOWA - The Prep Baseball Iowa State Games event took place Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th, 2024. The event was held at Gregg Young Sports Complex at Norwalk, Iowa. The invite-only event featured prospects from the 2025 through 2027 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from the players in attendance. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and coaches in attendance.
Thank you to the players, parents, our staff, along with the staff at Norwalk for such a great event.
There were a number of great individual performances this year at the Prep Baseball Iowa State Games.
As we drill down into the statistics, of the over 130 players to attend our invite-only event:
+ 50 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+ 55 players recorded 90+ mph exit velocities
+ 20 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+ 23 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+ 11 catchers recorded 75+ mph throws to second base
+ 10 catchers recorded sub-2.1 pop times
+ 16 pitchers were 85+ mph on the mound
