EVENT HISTORY

Last year's Preseason All-State featured a number of strong performances

Gavin De Jesus (2026, SS, Waukee) ran a 6.53, threw 92 across the diamond, and had an average bat speed of 74.6 MPH in event. De Jesus would be added to Team Midwest for the 2024 Future Games and later make his commitment to Iowa. De Jesus recently showcased at the Upper Midwest Procase where the infielder added a 103.8 max exit velocity to his resume.

Caiden Buonadonna (2025, OF, Cedar Rapids Washington) absolutely smashed baseballs. The left-handed hitting oufielder posted an average exit velocity of 96.6 MPH, topping out at 102.7, the second-highest exit velocity in the event. His 405 feet max distance read from TrackMan is the second-highest all-time in the Preseason Event. He also threw 90 from the outfield and had the third-highest Blast bat speed average (82.5 MPH). Buonadonna is committed to Southeastern.

Cole Moore (2025, C/RHP, Van Meter) is a legit two-way threat but last year he captured the all-time highest fastball velocity from a Prep Baseball Iowa Preseason All-State participant when he hit 93.0 MPH on the Trackman. Moore, an Iowa commit, attended last month's Procase where he pushed that max velocity up to 93.1 MPH.
