2025 Preseason ID-Eastern Iowa: Quick Hits

MONTICELLO, IOWA - The Preseason ID-Eastern Iowa event took place February 9th, 2025. The event was held at the Eastern Iowa Sports Facility in Monticello, Iowa. The event featured many solid performances from the players in attendance. Thank you to the players, coaches and the Eastern Iowa Sports Facility staff for such a great event.

There were a number of great individual performances this year at the Preseason ID-Eastern Iowa event.

Damen Dahlhauser RHP / SS / Davenport West, IA / 2025

Recent de-commit for St. Scholastica (MN). Solid build with clean arm action. Velocity continues to build. Shows command of 3 pitches with above avg. running action on the changeup

Brady Barry C / Linn-Mar, IA / 2026

Strong right-handed bat with pop to the mid/pull side of the field. Consistently barreled baseballs with routine hard contact. 4.07 30-yard split. 

Owen Everhart OF / RHP / Pleasant Valley High School, IA / 2028


The 2028 outfielder/right-handed pitcher finished the event in the top 3 of the statistical categories from his class. On the mound, the righty maxed out at 80.4 MPH - a sizeable jump from the 72 MPH he topped out at in the Rising Stars ID in March 2024. Slider also had over 2,400 RPMs.
