PBR:  Why did you choose John Wood CC?
MCCREARY: I chose John Wood because I liked coach Hightower's coaching style and they were able to make an offer that was hard to pass up.

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?
MCCREARY: I was also considering Bellarmine and Rock Valley College.

PBR:  Where did they first see you? How did your relationship develop with the coaching staff?
MCCREARY: They first saw me at a camp during the summer and then I came down this fall for an individual workout and talked about offers.

PBR: What role do you expect to play your first year on campus?
MCCREARY: I hope to be a starter and contribute to the team's success.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
MCCREARY: Cory Harris and Ian Fink, I have worked with them since I was 8 and they helped me improve my abilities.

PBR: What have you worked on/improved since last year?
MCCREARY: I worked most on becoming a stronger hitter.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have played against or with?
MCCREARY: Ian Bedell is the hardest pitcher I've had to face so far.

PBR:  What are your thoughts on the recruiting process? Any advice for other players who have the desire to play college baseball.
MCCREARY: The recruiting process can be long at times but it is worth it. Being proactive and contacting colleges first and as early as you can is the best advice I can give.
