2022 OUTLOOK:
“The Nikes will be young again this year with only two seniors and one junior. Looking to be Sophomore and 8th grade heavy. Senior Carson Chiprez, who just recently returned from a full ACL injury during football,, will lead the Nikes and bat in the 3rd spot and play shortstop and 3B. Chiprez is coming off an All-Conference and All-District season. Senior Jack Brent will returns to the mound as the Nikes top pitcher after a junior season that ended early after being struck in the face by a line drive 5 games into the 2021 season. Brent will move to 1B this year and play some outfield. The Nikes will need to find more pitching for a tough 2022 schedule which includes playing 6 teams in 3A and 4A.” Head Coach Chris Chiprez
