PBR:  Why did you choose Bradley University?
OLSON: I choose Bradley because they have a good engineering program, fantastic facilities, and I felt comfortable with all of the coaches.

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?
OLSON: I was considering South Dakota State, Creighton, and Western Illinois.

PBR:  Where did they first see you? How did your relationship develop with the coaching staff?

OLSON: They first saw me on a recruiting website called NCSA. I developed my relationship with the coaches over phone calls and face to face conversations on my visits to the school.

PBR: What role do you expect to play your first year on campus?
OLSON: I expect to compete for playing time. The amount I get will be determined by how hard I work and how well I play.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
OLSON: My dad has had the biggest impact on me. He has always given great advice and hardly ever misses a game. The best part about him is that I know that I can always go to him if I have any issues.

PBR: What have you worked on/improved since last year?
OLSON: The thing I have improved the most since last year is locating my curveball. I struggled throwing it for strikes consistently until my junior year.

PBR: Who is the toughest player that you have faced in Iowa?
OLSON: The toughest players I've faced in Iowa are probably Connor Enochs or Connor Sorge. Both are great players that can steal bases and impact a game at any moment with their bat.

PBR:  What are your thoughts on the recruiting process? Any advice for future players in your position.
OLSON: I think the recruiting process can be stressful but exciting at the same time. My advice is to surround yourself with coaches and parents that can help you through every step of the way.
