Evaluation: 8/7/16- 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder/outfielder. Athletic build with present strength. Upright posture with open stance, easy stride to square, head is level and quiet, occasional stiff path with high back elbow, stays on and through contact, mid/pull approach, hard line drive and fly ball contact, 88 mph exit velocity. Plays on balls of feet, soft glove action, works around ball and plays through well, above avg. arm with carry and accuracy, 89 mph arm strength across diamond. Solid actions in outfield, plays through ball, soft glove, with above avg. carry and accuracy to target, online throws with 92 mph arm strength from outfield.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
BENNETT: Central Michigan, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Ohio University, Eastern Illinois, Upper Iowa, Clarke, Iowa Central, Iowa Western, NIACC, Heartland CC, Johnson County CC, Marshalltown and Kirkwood.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
BENNETT: I have taken several visits and plan to take more in the fall.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
BENNETT: I am looking for a school that is high on academics; along with having a great baseball staff and program.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
BENNETT: I was named 1st Team All-Area, 1st Team All-Conference, 2nd Team NE, 1st Team All-District. 46 hits/8 doubles/2 triples/7 HR/50 RBI/12 BB/16-17 SB/.449 OBP/.648 SLG/.377 AVG

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
BENNETT: To get stronger, faster, work on my footwork, continue to work on approach at the plate, and continue to work on arm strength over the winter.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
BENNETT: Basketball and track.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
BENNETT: I have a 3.3 GPA and a 20 ACT.
