What schools have expressed interest in you?
MANTERNACH: I have had multiple D3 schools that have taken interest in me. For example Coe, Central, and Clark. I have had a few JUCO schools that have shown interest like Kirkwood, DMACC, and Iowa Central. A couple of Division 2 schools that have showed interest are Upper Iowa and Northwest Missouri State.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
MANTERNACH: I went and worked out for the coach at Northwest Missouri State. I also have a visit scheduled at Iowa Central.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
MANTERNACH: I would like to go to a school that has good academics. I am also looking to go into an agriculture major so if I could find a school with that; it would be a bonus.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
MANTERNACH: My junior year I was put on the River Valley Elite All-Conference team. I was also first team All-District. As well as First Team All-State Coaches Association and First Team All-State Newspaper Association.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
MANTERNACH: I want to be able to help bring our team to the sub-state final this year. We need our goals to be improving every day and not looking at the outcome. I also want to become a more complete hitter and defensive player.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
MANTERNACH: Other than baseball I also play Football and Basketball.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
MANTERNACH: My GPA is currently 3.78 and my ACT score is a 27.
