2025 Future Prospect Games: Preview

Diego Solares
Staff Writer, Associate Scout

On Wednesday, July 7, the PBR Illinois staff will travel to Ozinga Field in Crestwood, IL, to host the 2025 Top Prospect Games. This 2025 invite only event will help sort out the top prospects in the state at an earlier age as well as serving as a last chance identifier for the Junior Future Games at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA, July 29-Aug1.

We held this same event last year for the 2024 class as they prepared to enter the high school ranks for the first time and several high-follow names from that class participated. INF Cole Crafton (Lincoln Way West; Louisville), C Colin Mowry (Lincoln Way Central; Louisville), and RHP Ryan Sloan (York; Wake Forest) were all in attendance.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

In an effort to continue and develop a simplified, contactless check-in process, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smart phone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and hit submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name. From there, players will be instructed to the area where they’ll pick up their designated jersey color and number.
