What’s interesting about this showcase, it appears, is that many of the names headed to Saturday’s showcase will be making their PBR debuts.

Looking at the roster headed our way on Saturday, there’s a handful of names to know ahead of time. Romeoville sophomore Corey Boyette is an athletic left-handed-hitting outfielder that has a short, simple swing. Uncommitted junior LHP/1B Jack Bruington (Plainfield South) is a 6-foot, 220-pound who has a clean arm and has been in the low-80's in the past.

6-foot-5, 180-pound RHP Mason Kottmeyer (Kaneland) is a high-interest, unsigned senior who sat 83-85 mph, touching 87, back in October with a sinking change-up.

Mason Kottmeyer (10/6/19)

Some other prospects to look out for this coming Saturday should be OF Payton Matthews (Neuqua Valley, 2021), OF Douglas Burson (Yorkville, 2021), C/INF Matthew Tarr (West Aurora, 2022), OF Charlie Saul (Batavia, 2022), as well as a host of others.
