Ryan Kutt
had three hits - all doubles - and five RBI as the Crusaders winning streak reached 21. Kutt had a three-run double in the first inning as Brother Rice scored 10 times in the first inning. Jack Guzek added three hits and Andy Lopez drove in three runs in the victory.

No. 2 O’Fallon 7, Belleville East 0
Bradley Harrison
pitched a three-hitter, struck out 12 and walked none for O’Fallon. Joe Guithues had a two-run double and Josh Gibson had two hits in the victory.

No. 4 St. Laurence 11, No. 9 Providence 2
Tommy Farrell
went 4-for-4 with two RBI as Providence completed the two-game sweep and won its fifth straight Catholic Blue contest. Angel Sandoval struck out eight and did not allow an earned run in six innings of three-hit ball. Jimmy Burnette added three hits and two RBI for the Vikings.

John Legare
had drove in three runs and Zach Mettetal had two hits and two RBI in the five-inning victory. Jack Lambert allowed three hits and struck out four in four innings for the North Stars.

No. 6 Plainfield North 3, No. 21 Plainfield South 0
Josh Garner’s
big season continued with a four-hitter and a home run for North. Anthony Agne had two hits and Jake Dunham added an RBI double in the victory.

No. 8 Edwardsville 5, Belleville West 3
Collin Clayton
had an RBI double and scored on Joe Wallace’s two-run single as Edwardsville erased its 2-0 deficit with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Andrew Yancik won it in relief after Trey Riley struck out eight in 3⅔ innings.

Joe Prestamer
pitched a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and one walk in the six-inning victory.

No. 11 Sandburg 15, Lincoln-Way East 4
Andy Gaytan, Kevin Cronin
and Matt Richards had three hits apiece for Sandburg. Eric Papierski tripled and drove in three for the Eagles.

No. 20 Peoria Notre Dame 6, No. 12 Normal Community 1
Luc Jackson
pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk and did not allow an earned run in the victory. Jackson also doubled twice and Alex Skibba and Truman Ralph drove in two runs apiece for the Irish.

Carmel 9, No. 19 Nazareth 3
Joe Santoro
allowed two runs on four hits in 5 ⅓ innings and added a two-run double as the Corsairs completed the two-game sweep. Matt Collins had two hits and two RBI in the victory. Carson Bartels homered for Nazareth.

No. 22 Sacred Heart-Griffin 4, Springfield 3
Devin Thomas’
two-run double in the fourth inning erased Springfield’s 3-2 lead as the Cyclones prevailed despite being out-hit 10-3.

No. 24 Prairie Ridge 4, Hampshire 1
Luke Annen
went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI and Jon Tieman allowed three hits in six innings for the Wolves.

Niles Notre Dame 3, Benet 2
Tim Simon’s
solo home run in the bottom of the sixth provided the winning run for the Dons. Matt Segovia and Matt Krogsted had two hits apiece for Notre Dame. Mike Dunn pitched a complete game for Benet.

Marist 6, Joliet Catholic 1
Jack Snyder
struck out six and walked none in the complete-game victory. Matt Donahue had two hits and two RBI for Marist.

St. Viator 4, St. Patrick 2
Cole Kmet
allowed an earned run on five hits in the complete-game victory. Dan Sullivan had two doubles for the Lions.

Lake Forest 8, Mundelein 3
Matt Peterson
struck out 12 and survived seven walks and two hit batsmen to pitch five scoreless innings as Lake Forest won its seventh straight and snapped Mundelein’s winning streak at nine.

Stevenson 7, Zion-Benton 4
Michael Marchese
shook of the Zee-Bees’ four-run first inning to pitch a complete game as the Patriots rallied to avoid the major upset. Marchese and Patrick Loeffler homered in the victory.

Libertyville 4, Lake Zurich 2
Riley Gowens
struck out eight and did not allow an earned run in 6 ⅔ and Scott Hay got the final out for the save. Ben Kimpler homered in the victory.

Warren 9, Vernon Hills 4
Matt Burch
and Michael Rosenburg hit home runs and Ricky Lee and Tanner Dyer had three hits apiece for the Blue Devils.

Wauconda 7, Grant 0
Korey Soetart
pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk and Alex Machon had two hits and scored two runs in the victory.

Cary-Grove 7, McHenry 6
Tyler Pennington’s two-run homer in the sixth inning ignited Cary-Grove’s comeback from a 6-1 deficit. Quinn Celske forced extra innings with an RBI single in the seventh and Mark Smith scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth.

Woodstock North 9, Grayslake North 1
Nate Harris
went 3-for-4 and Jesse Cordoba went 2-for-2 with a walk and scored three runs for Woodstock North.

Antioch 4, Lakes 3
Connor Kaiser
allowed an earned run on three hits in five innings and Sonny Mentone got the final six outs for the save. Jake Emer had two RBI and Alex Uneskis and Austin Marsiglio scored two runs apiece for the Sequoits.

Homewood-Flossmoor 15, Joliet Central 5
Bryce Gray
hit three home runs and had six RBI for H-F.

Minooka 11, Oswego East 1
Joe Butler
tripled, singled and had three RBI and Logan O’Brien drove in three runs without recording a hit for Minooka.

Oswego 3, Plainfield Central 2
Mike Dato’s
two-run single in the fifth inning tied the score at 2, and Oswego went ahead on an unearned run in the sixth. Luke Torrez scattered eight hits for the complete-game victory.

Lincoln-Way West 8, Lincoln-Way Central 1
Tyler Dallio
pitched six scoreless innings of four-hit ball and Ryan Hastins and Mike Majcher homered for West.

Bolingbrook 6, Joliet West 5
Jeremiah Lebron
hit a three-run homer and T.J. DeHerrera delivered a walk-off single for the Raiders.

Stagg 8, Lockport 7
Max Downs
hit a three-run homer and Nick Worst and Nate Miranda drove in two runs apiece for Stagg.

Prospect 7, Wheeling 4
Grant Whitebloom’s three-run homer in the top of the ninth was the difference. Jake Arndt allowed three hits in seven scoreless innings of relief as Prospect rallied from an early 4-1 deficit.

Hersey 6, Elk Grove 3
Tanner Luke
had two doubles and Paul Tokar went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs as the Huskies prevailed despite a four-hit performance from Elk Grove star Christian Camacho.

Ethan Hajdukovic
belted a grand slam for the Vikings.

Neuqua Valley 3, Naperville North 0
Ricky Castro
scattered six hits in the shutout, striking out five and walking two. James Gargano had two doubles for Neuqua.

Ryan Mecaskey
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs and Steven Anderson allowed three hits in six scoreless innings for Metea.

Waubonsie Valley 7, Wheaton Warrenville South 2
Nick Price
went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double and five RBI. Will Isdell pitched six innings of two-hit ball to earn the win.

New Trier 9, Glenbrook South 3
Matt Kann hit a grand slam and Dylan Horvitz had two hits and three RBI for the Trevians.

Glenbrook North 8, Niles North 3
Tommy Gertner
struck out 12 in the complete-game victory. Mitch Schermerhorn had three RBI for the Spartans.

Maine South 9, Waukegan 4
Matt Whitelaw and Nick Cecela
had three hits apiece and P.J. Teahen had two hits and two RBI for the Hawks.

Highland Park 10, Maine East 2
Noah Shutan
went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for the Giants.

singled home the tying and go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Joe Sciarrino went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Matt Breidigan pitched five innings of two-hit ball for the Saints.

Brandon Green had four RBI, including a two-run single in the seventh to force extra innings, and Kenwood erupted for six in the top of the 10th.

pitched five innings of three-hit ball and Johnny Colombo went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the victory.

Devin Haxby
reached four times and scored three runs and four other Geneseo batters had two hits in the victory.

Craig Schuring
struck out 11 while allowing an earned run on five hits in six innings. He also went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

St. Joseph-Ogden 11, St. Thomas More 0
Dalton Parker
pitched a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts to set a school record with his 21st career win. Parker and Eli Oltean had three hits apiece as St. Joseph clinched the Okaw Valley Conference title.

Centennial 7, Danville 6
Dalton Webber hit a two-run homer and Kellen Sarver had a three-run double as Centennial scored all seven runs in the fourth inning.

Richwoods 10, Normal West 1
Dylan Lonteen
had two triples and a double and drove in four runs for Richwoods. Alec Peters allowed five hits in the complete-game victory.

Bradley Hamilton
pitched a complete game and hit a home run. He allowed an unearned run on five hits in the victory.

Brent Beals
went 3-for-3 and struck out five in 3⅓ innings for Effingham.

Zac Bateman’s
RBI double in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie. Lance Koenig allowed one hit in three scoreless innings of relief and went 2-for-2 in the victory.

and Nic Baker had two hits and two RBI apiece for the Rockets.

Colin Szczeblewski
pitched six solid innings and Landon Michael walked the bases loaded in the seventh then pitched out of the jam for the save.

Aurora Central Catholic 9, Glenbard South 7
Michael Bieterman
went 3-for-3 and hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to erase Glenbard South’s 7-5 lead. Sean Siniski also went deep in the victory.

Yorkville 7, Morris 3
Ty Liaromatis
pitched a three-hitter and had an RBI double for the Foxes.

York 4, Glenbard West 3
Nick Lee
went 2-for-4 with three RBI and drove in the go-ahead run with a ground ball in the top of the seventh. Winning pitcher Matt Riecker struck out seven in six innings.

Willowbrook 11, Addison Trail 5
Kyle Ferguson
had a two-run double and Jon Kelso a two-run single as Willowbrook posted a 10-spot in the top of the sixth. Cameron Zunkel had three hits in the victory.

Mitch Koran
struck out eight and allowed five hits in the complete-game victory. Peyton Willingham had two RBI for East.
