Each week, IHSA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Illinois Player of the Week honor. On Wednesday, we awarded the Week 7 POTW honor to RHP/3B Owen Murphy (Riverside-Brookfield, 2022; Notre Dame). Murphy is now the first player to win the PBR Illinois Player of the Week award twice in the same season, having won previously in week five.
