Future Games Spotlight: Ryan Kutt

Pitching in the toughest conference in Illinois, the Chicago Catholic Blue, as a freshman, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound Kutt proved his toughness by posting a 5-2 record with one save and a 1.51 ERA for the state-ranked Crusaders. In 37 innings, he tallied 27 strikeouts and 13 walks. Kutt has a polished repertoire for his age, including a hard, sharp slider and a mid-80s fastball. Kutt has an athletic arm, works from a high three-quarter slot with a shorter arm action. As he physically develops he should continue to add velocity.  Kutt will be one of the most highly ranked sophomores in the state of Illinois when our 2017 rankings are unveiled this fall.

Over the next several weeks we will begin to unveil prospects who have been selected to participate in this year's event with a brief history and bio of the player and what we can expect from him at the PBR Future Games.
