Illinois Staff

On Sunday, August 8, the PBR Illinois staff will be hosting the GPA Games at Lee Pflund Stadium in Carol Stream. This event is open to players in all classes and is geared towards prospects who are pursuing high academic institutions. All participants must be in high academic standing, as verified through registering their test scores and GPAs.

Last year's event featured RHP Nate Kemp (St. Dominic, MO, 2022), who since then committed to Missouri University of Science and Technology. Also in attendance was C Nathan Sommerfeld (Plainfield Central, 2022), a North Park commit. The complete roster from last year can be viewed here.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

In an effort to continue and develop a simplified, contactless check-in process, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smart phone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and hit submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name. From there, players will be instructed to the area where they’ll pick up their designated jersey color and number.
